Re: Pellet Weight Question
Pellet weights for pistol clearly vary by manufacturer. For example Vogel 8.1gr RWS 7.0gr H&N 7.5gr Is there a real or theoretical reason for this? Will some brands of air pistol prefer different weights. Just wondering......I miss regardless of the weight. Good shooting, Brian Hi Brian, in add...

I Agree with Art! Because the drug store closeup glasses will rarely yield perfectly sharp focus on the front blade. You need to get a prescription from your favorite optometrist or opthamologist. Chances are that you will need Cylinder(astigmatic) correction to bring the front blade to crystal clea...

Re: SURVEY: Why not a grip adjustable from outside ?
Yesterday I was again in Parma for work and took the opportunity to go and greet Cesare Morini and explain him my latest crazy idea, hoping to convince him (which I did'nt manage to) to modify one MGH1 for me (in which case I would have bought it straight away). Why not having a grip adjustable in ...

Stance is all about stability. Single most effective modification I've made to my stance recently (based on something in an article in the USA Shooting News) is to place my feet shoulder width apart and PARALLEL to each other. The latter action seems to lock the hip, knee and ankle joints and gives...

Very good first post. I had wondered about one of these as a loaner air pistol for club use. Looks like I'll pass. Hi Misny, If you find one cheap enough(under $100) they'll do the job. My son shot 540 with one. It is accurate enough to put 10 pellets into the inner 10 ring. His Compact is low powe...

Hi MRKilby, I recommend you do not see an Optometrist; instead, go to an Opthamologist. The Opthamologist is far more qualified for proper diagnosis. You may even have a detached Vitreous, which really can cause some awesome floaters. I don't know your age, but it's also possible that you may need C...

Re: 45 Taper Crimp
Thanks to all who replied to my question concerning tha size of the Taper crimp for 45 200 Grain BBWC loads. My 45 is a Caspian Long slide with a Kart Barrrel and I am Taper crimping at 469/470 which is in line with most of your replies Thanks again Cliff Whittemore Hi Cliff, the replies to your qu...

You CAN'T focus on the front sight with one eye and the target with the other! Well, I can't do it. But Dr. Wong, with glasses he prescribed for that purpose, says he can do it. It certainly seems theoretically possible to me. Both eyes converge at the target, the dominant eye looks through rear an...

Re: front sight painting
I just got a new air pistol and the front sight is a black blade. Is there a BEST color to paint it for shooting at a 10M standard target? Hi Paula, That color for me has always been BLACK There nothing to stop you from trying different colors to see what you like best. During your experimentation,...

This is a slightly different issue and if a moderator wants to make it a separate topic, that's fine with me. I wear progressive lenses. by looking through the lens at the right position, the front sight is in focus while the target is blurred. My head position is fine and neck is not strained. Any...

Re: eye dominance
I am not new to shooting, but new to 10M pistol. For my home defense and carry guns I am good enough to point and shoot. Getting a sight picture in a self defense situation really isn't important. But in 10M air pistol, it's everything. My problem is that I have better than 20/20 vision in my domin...

Hi Guys, I use KwikWood also; I read about it, here on the forum. It's an epoxy, not a putty. It has a work time of 15-25 minutes and fully cures in an hour. I think it is easy to form and work with for the first 15 min. When cured it files and sands easily, yet cures very hard in a couple of hours....

As someone who may never make any final; I've gotta vent my opinion. First and foremost, I think the new finals format is completely unfair to the efforts made by the competitors during the 60 shot qualifying. The idea of zeroing the the final eight shooters' score is just why I think USA NASCAR is ...

Re: Problem with PGP 75
Hello. I'm having problems with my Pardini PGP 75. The rod used to install the weights seems to be bent. The rod is touching the barrel at the top. Can you please check if your rod is similar or if it's only mine that is this way. http://cms.piso5.net/images/PGP75/05.jpg http://cms.piso5.net/images...
