Hey Rover(Scott), I tried to find a nice home in AZ, but my wife wanted to live in Show Low and I preferred Payson. So I'm still stuck in CA(pun intended). However there is a bright side, I primarily shoot CO2 match pistols; they are two FEG GPM-01s(backups) and a Steyr LP1-C as the first choice. To...

Re: they don'thave any 103 pistols oh well

I was dreaming David, there's nothing wrong with dreaming. Dreams can provide impetus for realization. To help your dreaming, contact Jim Edmundson, and ask him to locate a used FWB 103 for you. his prices range from $1000 to $1200. I'll take a used one at that price, because the used 103 will func...

Hi David, please add my name to Rover's suggestion. I shoot Basics almost exclusively now in my FWB mod 100. I've used up my yellow tin Vogels, Meisterkuglns, and JSB green tin. It shoots the Hobbys the same as the Basics. My mod 100 is very tolerant of most 7.0-7.7 gr pellets in 4.49-4.51mm sizes. ...

Hi David, Sergi held two records, first the match record with an FWB mod 2,
and the match plus ten shot final with a Steyr LP1-C.
David, if you can do it, your new to you Pardini K58
can also break a world record. Have fun with it, SSP's
are very good training tools.

...Uh....

Hey everybody, Zigs said he is NOT a junior, so Zigs doesn't need a junior size
match pistol.
So, Zigs, how much are you willing to spend? your answer will determine the
recommendations.

I use my p34 to shoot silhouettes. I shoot iron sights too. My best one handed is 29/40. I don't train or anything for it. Just shoot and have fun. Shooting outdoors in the wind is very challenging. Shot a match one in 30mph gusts. Was aiming at target on left to hit target on right. Guessing pelle...

Hi David, My used 20 lb CO2 tank with a siphon tube cost $99. My digital scale that increments to .10 gram cost $25. The Pcp steup with scuba tank and K-valve adapter could cost twice as much. I get 250 shots with the velocity turned down to low 420's fps and 225 shots with the velocity set to 565fp...

A steel chicken is the size of the 8ring...how hard can that sport be? In AP silhouette the chicken, located at 10 yd, is approximately 20x20mm, which makes it smaller then the 9 ring. You must knock down five chickens in 2.5 min. Pigs, Turkeys and Rams are larger and located at 12.5, 15 and 18 yd....

Re: Where are all the used pistols

I see a FWB 102 but in the 100 series the 103 is the one you want.Right? Also saw an LP 1 but they want $1200. Maybe I should take an SSP over a CO2 only because I live in the state of NY and we get lots of cold weather here. Is the FWB 103 the best in that category. It seems lately I spend most of...

Hmm Guys, $399 from Pyramid; and that's before you do any mods like adding a proper rear sight or trigger blade/shoe. Also the grip is ambidextrious and primitive. $399 puts you into Izh-46M territory that only needs a rasp and sandpaper. Why cannot Crosman incorporate anything they learned from the...

Hi TC, I still do dismiss your results as indicative of your Crosman. They do not show what your AR is truely capable of. Your target tells me that your are a very capable shooter...not your air rifle. In a vise your Challenger may actually print smaller groups or possibly even larger groups. I hope...

Re: Crosman Challenger PCP vs. Air Force Edge

Now both air rifles are on the market, can someone give me a review of those rifles? They are similarly priced, how do they compare? I intend to buy one for my teenager for backyard training. Which is more "beautiful", more reliable, more accurate, and less noisy (for my backyard)? Thanks...

Hi Bill, I completely agree with you. That was my first reaction to seeing
the chart. My experience tells me that relying on the chart creates more
obstacles to better shooting. I learned this when I was coaching world class
distance runners.

Is there a distributor in the US for Matchguns now? Neal Stepp no longer mentions them on his website. (Yes, I know. I should email him and ask. I thought this might be a general interest question). Re: I was happy with the 9+ results

Tony, thanks for the comments regarding a rifle. As for the 9+ ring shooting... that was beyond my expectations with a new pistol. I am sure I will digress back to an 8 ring shooter if I just practice a bit more :) - Mike Hi Mike, if you did it once, you'll do it again and again, and again. Tony G

Re: Izzy pistol

[/quote]I am 66 years old and received an IZH-46M for Christmas. The Izzy is an amazing pistol. It is a 9+ ring shooter, off hand in the garage at 6M shooting at 6M scaled targets. The only pistol I have ever shot as well was my Sig Trialside .22LR. Question: What rifle do you 46M owners use to shoo...
