Yes. When I shot the Mid-Atlantic Prone 6400 last June, I counted about 1/3 of the line using a 14/18/1911 stock or a copy of it. Of course there were plenty of aluminum stocks as well.

I have used a 2018 for prone (same as the 1918 but with the 2013 action in it), and I didn't care for it at all. You won't see many of them at prone matches. Most dedicated anschutz prone shooters use the 1911 style stock.

If you only put the riser under the rear sight, it is the equivalent of clicking your rear sight up 8 mm. This is the equivalent of clicking up to move your point of impact higher on the target.

Rockgeo offered me a sight that I had posted an ad in search of. He sent me photos of the sight, but a simple google search turned up the exact same photos of the sight being sold previously in another country. I told him I will pass.
