I use a cheap ballpoint pen with removed stem to reshape oval skirts. You have to pick a pen with the right shape tip, easy to find.

I think it's a curve in the nose piece and no curve. Just guessing.

Re: Anyone heard of this Olympic shooter?
There was an article about him in American Rifleman more then a decade ago. He was still alive, a hundred and something years old and in good shape. There was a picture of him sitting down and holding a shooting trophy.
Maybe it was in Shooting Sports USA when it was still in print, don't remember.

Re: My Steyr EVO 10E Arrived
Thanks. My main concern was it was made from stainless steel. Most filler probes are made from brass.Agt. Smith wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 1:13 pm I can highly recommend PCPTunes - got one for the K12 and it works perfectly.
Even the DHL shipping was pretty fast. Good luck!

Will this filler probe work ok or does it have to be made from brass?

Re: My Steyr EVO 10E Arrived
Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but for any sort of compressed air accessories, try these guys: https://www.bestfittings.co.uk/ Do NOT store with the loading lever up. It's thin metal, and easily bent when you close the case, or in transit. I had to straighten one when a student shipped ...

Re: My Steyr EVO 10E Arrived
Pilk has written a piece titled The Care and Feeding of Your New Air Pistol or something close to that. It used to be available on their web site and it's also been published on the USA Shooting site. Yes to unscrewing the air cylinder when the pistol is not in use. I also open the breach slightly ...

Re: My Steyr EVO 10E Arrived
I lift the load lever just so it isn't compressing the seals, no more, otherwise you can cock the hammer spring along with the recoil reducer spring. I also unscrew the cylinder so that the belleville washers in the regulator are not under strain. The other benefit is not having the firing valve se...

My Steyr EVO 10E Arrived
Received my Evo 10e from Pilk. Waiting time wasn't too bad for imported air pistol with all the features you select. I will have a bunch of questions for the Steyrvites here, but first things first. 1. For now I plan to use Hill MK5 air pump with air dryer. I am already using it with PCP air rifle. ...

Re: IZH 46M- oxidation/rust problems
Wipe it done periodically with oily patch or a rag, whether it needs it or not. Eventually it will build up a protective layer as oil coats dry up. That and avoiding the obvious exposure to sweaty or wet hands will be enough to keep it rust free. The best rust preventative in my experience is Break ...

Re: Benelli Kite Air Pistol Cylinder Dealers in Europe?
Pardon my ignorance. I am PCP newb. What exactly happening to these cylinders to make them "no go" after a certain period of time? My Daisy 599 rifle came with a cylinder with no expiration date specified. Is it just a formality or they actually physically deteriorate?

Re: Steyr EVO 10 - does barrel color matter?
How do you figure it could reflect in your eyes? My barrel shroud is painted a glittery metallic green, but my sights are still matte black. I don't get any reflected light anywhere. I wouldn't expect it to occur under normal conditions, but if I would need to shoot outdoors or under unusual indoor...

Re: Steyr EVO 10 - does barrel color matter?
Whether it matters or not or what people believe (which is not necessarily true), why would you want any color other than black. Anything that has possibility to reflect light into your eye or distract is not desirable.

Re: Daisy 599 Questions
my 599 has a little resistance at the fire or safe side as the lever arcs to extreme ends. At least you both got spare ' O ' rings and grease. I received a color 1 page basic instruction. No exploded parts diagrams, nothing but the rifle, sights and fill probe. Luckily I purchased a O-ring kit from...

Re: Daisy 599 Questions
Hi, I own and enjoy a 599. I received a bag with o rings and a small tube of grease, but no springs. My safety doesn't have positive stops either and can be set in between, so I guess that's normal. Here's a youtube video of BSA trigger adjustment that you mind find useful. It's not the 599 but the...
