EAA is/was the only source that I'm aware of in the US. I think that parts for the IZH 35 are often interchangeable w/ the Walther KSP200 and perhaps the IJ 35, though you should speak w/ someone more familiar w/ these models to confirm this for specific parts. Your best bet may be to source an over...

How do you get in touch w/ Alasdair? I'd submitted an inquiry a while ago and the response didn't seem to be from someone fluent in English. Their ordering interface is a little confusing. The grips are listed independently by hand and size, even the adjustable match grips. But if the size is specif...

TPOW is right, Hermann's no longer carries Manurhin. The quality has apparently gone down significantly - not minor problems, serious problems w/ their build and fitting. This situation has apparently been worsening over the years and came to a head when Hermann's confronted CA on the matter. What a...

I was talking to Hermann's to day about the Manurhin MR73 Match revolver they don't distrubit the revolvers any more. The last shipment they had 'were' sub-standard. This started after Chapuis Armes had bought out Manuhin. And they had to put in a lot of time to fix the problems. They were not happ...

Weigand makes a changeable front post assembly as well, but I've never seen this installed, nor their rear sight blade. Re: K38s I have a 14-2 and a 14-3. Only the 14-2 is currently in match condition, and this is set-up for BE and related formats. As another poster had recognized, extensive accurac...

Sounds like you need a new seal for the loading port. Try Pilkington's or Randy Bimrose - barrelbender@sbcglobal.net

When you wrote to Chapuis, take into account that many French people do not speak English. That's what I'd assumed. I'll bug Scott and a few other potential importers. But if anyone knows of a specific overseas retailer/distributor that's comfortable handling the export of a MR73, please contact me...

someone just listed a MKIII for $150 - http://targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?t=16776 I have a Trailside. It's extremely accurate, but the stock trigger is difficult to use. This assembly uses plastic components. The plastic seems to be too soft. The trigger doesn't break cleanly - you just squish it u...

There's a spreadsheet linked from the bottom of this page that calculates the scale of a target at arbitrary distances - http://www.ray-vin.com/tech/targetlist.htm The spreadsheet is designed to provide scaled dimensions for highpower targets, but you can scale other targets by defining these on the...

Mission to Manurhin
There have been a few posts that discuss the direct import of handguns by US residents. I've been trying to acquire a Manurhin MR73 Match revolver . It doesn't appear that Chapuis Armes, Manurhin's owner, has a US distributor. The two companies that had carried them most recently no longer do. Does ...

The Walther LGR, an SSP, is a good candidate for scoping. Regarding hand pumps.. I use a pump to fill the cylinder of my S200. This only has a 122cc reservoir which is filled to about ~2750psi. If the Hunter's cylinder capacity is in this range, and the pressure isn't much greater, then a pump might...
