Those could be inserted (stick end first) from the back of the barrel with some alcohol on it to clean the barre...

Re: Shooting Range Setup - Basement

Yes. I forgot about rubber mulch. I use large Priority Mail boxes from USPS. Mulch from Home Depot . When shooting use duct tape from time to time to cover the holes. When box can no longer be shot dump everything into a large bucket. I use my empty shop vac. Fill with water and the rubber floats to...

IMG_2824.jpeg Take one piece of 1” x 4” x 8’ lumber. Cut into 8 pieces 12” long. Four for the sides and four for the back. Paint. Add a clip to hold your target. Put in a few pounds of Duct Seal (electrical section of your hardware store). Absolutely quiet. After about 5000 shots discard (consider ...

Re: Location of lights in indoor shooting range

At Diablo, during the winter we shoot indoors.
The targets are on the walls.
Lights are clamped onto chairs in front of and below the targets.
Hopefully you can see the lights in the photo..

My IZH46M and my friend’s AV46 shoot 1/2” rested from 25 yards all day.
My friend lives in Kansas farm country.
He has murdered 1000s of cow birds.

Re: Cateracts and seeing the target

I am 78. I had both eyes worked on four years ago by a colonel in the Air Force. (I am retired.) He was just back from the desert. He asked me what type of lenses did I want? I told him my killing partner in Kansas chose both near and far (and has to wear corrective lenses all the time but, as all m...

Re: Shooting after premium lens replacement eye surgery?

Jason, you made the right choice. I had Cadillac (sic) surgery four years ago. Air Force colonel just back from the desert did it. He asked what I wanted, near or far? I said all I do is shoot so I think I need far. He said I was correct. Now I have 20/15 distant vision in both eyes and use reading ...

Congratulations to that young man from Alaska.
My question is:
How much do those shooting jackets and pants weigh?
The girl from West Virginia could barely walk down to the winner to congratulate him..
