After a Spotting Scope recommendation for 25m

Hi all,

After a Spotting Scope recommendation for 25m.

Don't want to pay an exorbitant price for the best of the best glass, just a scope to easily pick out a .22 hole.

Re: Pardini .32 and Small Rifle Primers

Hi everyone. I know it has been a while since the last entry, but with the situation here in Oz re powder and primers, perhaps this is relevant. First off, I can't locate my notes of about 15 years ago, so what I say is from memory. Testing primers. Using a .32 revolver (Toz 49). Loaded approximate...

Re: Benelli .22 Buffer Question

I'm in the middle of a bunch of experiments on chamber cleaning. I have used a .25 caliber rifle brush for years ( http://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=37872&p=186896#p186896 ) on the theory that it would do a much better job than a 0.22 caliber bush, especially one that had been t...

Re: Pardini .32 and Small Rifle Primers

I tried Winchester SRP in my 38 special loads when I couldn't get SPP. Would not ignite. That was with a DA pull of 8 1/2lbs. Winchester and Federal SPP worked 100%. I didn't have any Federal SRP to try. I would think my husband would also have ignition issues with his lightened springs in his targ...

Re: Benelli .22 Buffer Question

Thank you both very much for the information. I get the occasional stovepipe lately (the buffer probably has 10-11 bricks of SKK pistol ammo on it) but more common lately is the empty case jammed perfectly pointing forward and caught in the chamber. I've always known if I had a good shot before scop...

Benelli .22 Buffer Question

Hi all, I have a shot a Benelli MP90S for around 17 years, love the pistol it suits me much better than a Pardini. Could someone please explain to me what the buffer does? I had a supply of red buffers, was told to keep the unused ones in the fridge until needed to stop them from crumbling, they sti...

Re: Pardini .32 and Small Rifle Primers

Thank you, I wasn't sure if SRP had more flame (or whatever the correct term would be) over SPP.

Pardini .32 and Small Rifle Primers

Hi all,

I'm in Australia and Small Pistol Primers are like rocking horse manure.

Is it ok to load my Pardini .32 using Small Rifle Primers?
