What constitutes good follow-through after a shot? Is the ability to "call a shot" an adequate measure of good follow-through? If you can see your pellet moving and the perforation is that adequate or is there some other magical measure of follow through? Or do you have to hold on for 6 se...

I spend a lot of time and pellets searching for the answer to this.
The worst of my "kicks" seem to be related to my trigger pull (I am shooting an AV 46M). I get a lot of upward kicks, but then I get a lot of nice 10s from the same gun.

And yet it kicks!
There must be some additonal force causing the upward kick. Perhaps the impact of the hammer on the release valve?
Or is it all flinch and trigger jerk?

I used Watco Rejuvenating oil on my grips. I used an old toothbrush on the checkering of my K22 grips. I then wiped off all I could. It takes about 3 days after that so they don't feel oily. Sorry I did not clarify earlier. The silicone variety acts like scouring powder on metal.

Superlube PN 21030 is exactly what I quoted from above. You are using silicone grease!
