Re: Looking for a vendor of RWS Pellets
Mr. Stepp is a very nice person to do business with and he personally answers the phone. R10 pellet prices are unchanged from 2020.

The LP400 is a PCP pistol; not a CO2 gun.

Looking for a vendor of RWS Pellets
I remember reading here in a post about a US vendor, believe in Texas, who sells RWS pellets at a bulk discount, as my supply of R10's is getting low. Anyone remember who it happens to be?

Re: Morini Grip Finish Question
OP here - I got clear Ballistol from Amazon; was shipped here from the Netherlands. It was a 0.67 ounce bottle (teensy little critter). Worked fine by dabbing a light amount on a cloth and gently rubbing it in. Matched the finish perfectly. That said, believe that any clear mineral oil would also wo...

Re: Get a grip, man!
I've been shooting a FWB 65 with the "H" (large grips) for a while. Really liked their fit, however decided to get a Morini 162MI as am 83 and the cocking was getting fatiguing. Spent a bunch of time researching grips and settled on using the Steyr grip sizing method which came out to be a...

Re: Morini Grip Finish Question
Thanks for the suggestions. I've ordered the clear Ballistol from Amazon as I use the regular stuff on BP firearms and am familiar with it. It's like the old song: "Do you remember Grandmas Lye Soap" Sing it out, all over the place, for pots and pans, and dirty dishes, And for your hands, ...

Morini Grip Finish Question
I got a new Morini 162MI in early February and am really happy with it. I've sanded down a few grip high spots and it now fits me extremely well. Wondering what to use, if anything, to even out the color of the sanded spots. It's no big deal, but looking for suggestions/ideas.

Recommendations for Lubing Threads on a Morini PCP Cylinder
I Googled recommendations for lubing the threads on a PCP cylinder for a Morini air pistol and came up with various mixed pro/con findings. Morini instructions are silent on the matter as are Steyr. It seems to me that an occasional very small amount of oil on the threads of the brass filling adapte...

Re: What to get for a cheap newbie?
I need to sell both a Daisy 777 and a FWB 65 that are just gathering dust since I bought a Morini 162MI. Will probably do so in a couple of weeks, once I sell a Marlin 39A I just posted on the SASS Wire. Probably will do it on this Forum as these folks appreciate this stuff. Though the eBay prices f...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE FEB. 2021
This is my first time joining this match. I've been in a postal match with the Rockville, MD IWLA for about a year. They have been shooting air gun matches since 1984 at their chapter house. The Covid mess stopped that for while, so they started postal (really Internet) matches. They have opened the...

Sorry, I had a senior moment regarding the pellets. They are RWS R10 Premium Line 7.0 gr. sold by Champions Choice.
I just edited the original post.

Chroney'd a Morini 162MI Today
Things are in the very boring stages of February; however it went to 69 degrees today after a month of ice & snow. Took my chrony and Morini onto the finally snow-free back deck and checked it out. Ten-shot average using RWS 7.0 gr. R10 Premium pellets was 522 fps, ES=5, SD=2, or a bit more than...

Contacted Jocelyn and she will order one for me. Located one in the US, but the price was 50% higher than hers. Decided I can wait. Thanks for all the suggestions; appreciate them.
