You might try Neal Stepp for P44 grips (call, not email). Don't know if he stocks them but he does carry lots of parts

Naïve question: Why are you guys married to electronic trigger / solenoid / circuit board for competition when there are excellent mechanical triggers out there?

Re: Making anything below an 8 unacceptable
As with a partially wrong exam answer, you can get partial credit if you called the errant shot correctly. Learning to correctly call your shots is one of the fundamentals, and the better you get at it the more precise your sight picture will be.
At least that's how I like to look at it.

Milliput works well too. Good bonding, working consistency, and working time, and comes in different colors.

Re: FWB P44 probe 0-ring
So the O-ring from Amazon isn't correct - much smaller than the one on the probe. FWB P44 exploded diagram indicates "O Ring 4.0 x 1.0 – 4.9.0001". This is the undersize Amazon O : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CL3VZ6L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Does someone know which O-rin...

FWB P44 probe 0-ring
I got the impression that my P44 was shooting inconsistently* so checked it with a chronometer. Two 10-shot strings using 7gr RWS basic pellets: Mean 328fps 325fps ES 40 57 SD 17 17 FWB documentation indicates factory velocity of 150 M/s, which is 492 fps: The gun is shooting very slow, about 65% of...

Re: Shooting Range Setup - Basement
I built a pellet trap using a sheet metal backer and wood frame mounted on a large sheet of plywood (to stop any fliers). The metal backer is covered with a layer of duct seal putty, which muffles the noise and traps most of the pellets. I made a frame from channel aluminum to hold targets, and the ...

Re: Shapeways Poly Hammerli 208/215 Mags
Walther made mags for the 208. They accept us credit cards and shipping for 2 of them was $10 to my house in Ga.!! https://riflemags.co.uk/hammerli-208-p208-215-22lr-10-round-magazine/ I've been using these mags in 208s with no problems. They probably won't last as long as metal mags but they cost ...

Also see if your college has a shooting team or club. If not maybe try to find other students interested in shooting and start a club!

Re: Back after a long time with more sad news
+++ to Gwhite's advice, as always. With AP, RF, CF, I do better getting shots off sooner - right after settling on aiming area. Taking up most of the trigger while dropping into the aiming area helps this. More generally also agree it is not about your score, but about your shot process. Each one, e...

Re: Am I too old?
The OP's question seems different than the one being answered. ie is there a big advantage to starting young if the goal is to be extremely competitive at some later time. There are many examples of older champions, but most (all?) started training / competing at a young age. Anecdotally you see thi...

"When load testing I typically use some NRA 10 meter air pistol targets because the black is very small. This target because I believe in the "aim small shoot small" principle." Here too. If the goal is harder I seem to do better. I even shoot 10m targets with .45/1911 (at 50') h...
