Taking American Guns Abroard

I have an American friend who is living and working hear in Holland. He would like to bring his pistol over so that he can shoot hear. As far as the dutch side is concerned he will require a dutch license and a customs import permit. This is all achievable, just lots of paper work. What we don't kno...

I once batch tested seventeen lots of TENEX at the Eley Customer Range, in three Hammerli pistols. There was no batch to batch / gun to gun correlation. The results of testing a particular lot of ammunition in one gun simply were inapplicable to any other gun. The precise reason we batch test. :) t...

Is there any chance we may see non-toxic compounds in .22 target ammo? In terms of primers - for my $0.02 very little to none. The popular press believe the problem is the bullet. for once the sport is abead of them. As always the question is how much are you prepared to pay $20 a box of 50? Julian

Anyone bought stuff from them before?

How was your experience with them?

Thanks.

Just a reminder, AFAIK the ISSF have not said 10 years. All they have said is "has been certified as safe and is still within the validity date." If the manufacturer says that their cylinder is safe for 10 years then that's not the ISSF's fault. It seems that the Jury at the recent Munich...

I ve tried to do a search on the optimal weight for the second stage, but couldn't find any. I know the answer could be the usual, "As you like it..." but I wanted to ask the resident experts for their thoughts on the advantages of having a very light second stage (as to cut on my search ...

Kim Rhode had offered a $5,000 reward for the return of her shotgun, which was stolen from her pickup truck on Sept. 11 at a Lake Elsinore shopping center where she had stopped after making a promotional appearance." unless I miss my guess, stolen form the back of a car in a non shooting venue...

Ok this may sound stupid but what is the process for batch testing. Is it putting the gun in a rest/vise and testing a series of pellets to find the most accurate in the gun Basicly yes. Diferent batchs of the same pellet form the same manufacturer will have diferent results. You can also tune some...

When the barrel is (slightly) above the hand, the chamber can be very close to the hand = just above it. This is what is done in the Hammerli, TOZ, Morini free pistols designs. When the barrel is moved down in line with the arm/hand, since there must be space for the trigger => the chamber must be ...
