What about some of us Europeans joining, naturally we wont need air fairs from the US, we could make our own way and meet you there.

Might be nice to meet some folk face to face

Re: Skanåker shooting glasses, impressions?

Have u used or seen the glasses Ragnar Skanåker sells? What did u think of them? I saw them in Feb - the ones fixed to a shooting hat. I thought they were pretty useless myself, but perhaps there are a few individuals who would get on better with them than 'normal' shooting glasses. Rob. Rob, I was...

I think it is partly true that the cocked wrist angle is designed to lock the wrist tendons which results in less wrist movement at the joint, However I think the real reason for this design has been missed here......The exaggerated downward angle of the wrist places the barrel at a much lower posi...

I wonder if the recoil absorbing system effect the result from a clamped gun. I know in photography you turn off the VR (image stabilization) when shooting from a tripod. The worst guns in this test all have some form of absorbtion. So do the best ! What is also interesting is the Eley pistol Xtra ...

This is a classic example of a rule that is off-base. As a sufferer of tennis elbow, I have used the strap that is placed on the forearm just below the elbow. It does help with relieving tennis elbow pain, and it also can be used to reduce the possibility of re-injury. The strap in no way, shape or...

I am looking for used .32 to shoot centerfire competitions (ISSF). Used because .32 ammo costs so much now, I would not practice very much with it. What .32 would be hazzle free and what would should be checked when buying used .32 pistol? Can you not reload in Findland? If you can reloading 32 mak...

You are totaly correct that the growing point of the bone are sponge like, so whilst one may presume that they will rebound from injury, prolonged and sustained damage can lead to perminant damage an they harden, In all honesty I believe this has to do with how much training the youngster under goes...

It never ceases to amaze me that people will spend $0000+ on their pistol / rifles and yet get squeamish and spending a couple of hundred on their eyes!

Remember watch your sights! (Oh and be able to see them first)

Problems with astigmatism can be managed with adjustable iris. If you don't have one, try making small holes of various sizes on a piece of electrical tape and attaching it to your glasses and see if it makes things better. "Managed" .... I would suggest that depends on there definition o...

it id not normal. u should be having at least a lost of 1 bar/ shot. 100< bar for 80 shots is too much In my experience .donthc is about right when he says about 1 bar per shot. On my LP10 I can shoot 100 maybe 110 and stay in the green. Your problem could be as simple as a little silicone grease t...

Hugo, It is very difficult to answerer this question, with out much further discussion. Are you adjusting your feet after each shot? secondly are you a member of a club? do ...

Julian, Your proposal reminds me of the attitude taken by (too) many hunters here in the U.S. viz. all I are about is my hunting rifle/shotgun; let the government ban assault rifles and pistols, it doesn't affect me. Yes I can see how you could come to that conclusion, but I believe I am been a bit...
