Centrefire trigger weight change - Why?

I am wondering why the change to the Center fire trigger weight? what were the reasons for this - David? Spencer? What affect do you think this will have on the discipline? I am wondering what the dutch will do, my guess is they will adopt the new rule next season rather than in the middle. Julian

Should be no problems, just remember to adjust both the screws. back off the grub screw and then adjust the main screw for course adjustment.

mine will do it just fine

<RANT> The bottom line is the politicians need to do something, the public are easy incited , banning sport weapons is a soft target with a fueled public ignorance. Today in the UK all handguns are banned, and yet according to police statistics (available on the met website) hand gun crime is higher...

Give me a break. The Olympics are in Beijing, the judges and officials aren't all Chinese, just because some talking heads watching on a TV from one angle don't agree that doesn't make it so. I hate judged sports, but this claim that the judging is against the US is a crock. I'll even give the judg...

If you are really training then for my $0.02 the training should have some purpose.

You may like to try a couple of these targets

they are down loadable and printable and copy right free :)

Inexact rule of thumb: Some correction needed for center hold. (4-5 clicks) No correction needed for 6 hold. Slight correction needed for sub-6 hold. (2-3 clicks) For many match SPs with match weight/velocity ammo. Steve Swartz Steve Why would there be a difference depending on hold ? Julian

re: duelling with a revolver, like everything else - just a matter of technique and practice! I am sure it is and I don't use one very often. I find I can miss a round if i don't get the hammer back properly, but is just my lack of use. I do like the pistol though. the gun I have "access"...

SP1 at 50M how many sight clicks ?

Does any one have a rule of thumb for how many clicks an SP1 needs for changing the sights from 25 m to 50 m.

Yes I know get a free pistol and leave it alone! but that is not an option at this point in time - my dutch license only allows, one gun for the first year :(

I have trouble get in the hammer back for the rapid fire section. but for slow fire with an a anatomical grip the 38 version is un beatable, I have had my best score with one.

Re: Options for .32

Haven't seen any recent discussion of the F.A.S. Domino CF603. (My 601 and 602 I.G.I. Domino pistols were a joy to shoot but a bear to maintain.) Anyone have any experience with the 603 to relate? Given the opportunity (here in the UK) I would choose the 603 every time. I couldn't recommend them to...

The cost of air pistol ammunition, is not something you should consider. it's basically cheep small differences do count. There is no issf air event using an lp10 a distance greater that 10M so I will stick to discussing 10 m The LP 10 performs better using heavier ammunition, though slower in fligh...

I agree with David M - I was seeing the same thing when my SP1 misfired - I believe the light strikes are caused by the firing pin inertia. When I disassembled mine yesterday, I was expecting the hammer / sear assemble to be dirty. What I found was a misaligned shock buffer. There is a nylon piece ...

Many thanks Tobias, this is great info! Very occasional problem was doubles, main problem was failing to activate; e.g. bang, bang, nothing, bang, bang and a disturbing dry-fire “6th shot”  I will be at Hannover as a coach for the ISCH, then possibly with our centre fire squad at the weekend for t...

I Striped down the pin housing and the pin looks just fine

it's clean inside well mild dirt from normal firing but noting to worie about

I notice that the rim has to be seeted in the recess, if that did not happen properly than it could produce a similar effect.

Check your firing pin I have seen the exact samething on another Pardini, the firing pin was broken about the halfway point. Can that be posible? the 4 rounds were not the last 4 but something like shot 9, 15, 35 & 37 The thing is brand new ! the only time it has been fullly dry fired ( as opos...

I own both a .22 and .32 with electronic triggers. The ONLY problem I have had with failure to fire was when I tried to use a Rink grip rather than the Pardini grips. There was something about the way the Rink grips held the batteries that resulted in a spotty electrical current. I'd get 2 shots ou...

Pardini SP1 Problems

I had a series of miss fires during a match this afternoon, and I am wondering what may be the cause. The gun is brand new (about 400 rounds) what happened is the gun went click, but the round did not go off. on closer inspection there are pin marks on the back of the round, but insufficient to fire...
