Anyone still using CO2 match pistols

I still have an old Walther CP2 Match CO2 pistol. The grip and balance suit me well and the sights are great. Does anyone still use CO2 pistols in competition?
I need to change all the seals and a valve and maybe Earls Repair shop is the place to go to.

Any advice appreciated

very old match pellets

I have some very old stock of airgun pellets from H&N mainly FInale Match for pistol. Over the years the foam under the lid deteriorated and the pellets are covered in powdered foam. I washed a tin of pellets in liquid soap and dried them but now they look 'dry' Is it fine to shoot them as they ...

Sensive Trigger on Morini 162 E

I have been looking online at the Anshcutz Sensive fully adjustable trigger which can be fitted to a Morini 162 air pistol. Has anyone used one of these? If so what was your experience like? Would the more experienced shooters let us know if the standard trigger which pulls straight to the rear is b...

Wider rear sight for Walther GSP

I have been shooting a Walther GSP for 43 years. It came with 3 rear sight blades but with increasing age I find i need a wider rear sight than even the No 8. The blade fits into the rear sight base which has a notch itself. I think the option would be to make a new wider rear blade and fix it so th...

Re: Air pistol training routine for an oldie?

Hi I will soon be 70 yrs and have restarted shooting after a gap of about 14 years. My muscle tone was bad so I began with some physical conditioning using 500 ml plastic bottles half filled with sand, then full of sand and now a mix of sand an fired airgun pellets to make a weight of 1200 grams. I ...

Re: Air pistol training routine for an oldie?

Sorry to jump in late but for what it is worth. I am 70 yrs and had stopped shooting in 2044 due to cataracts and other issues. During Covid time I decided to get back to shooting but had a tremor and shakes. Began with building up physically with a routine for upper body and shoulders with bottles ...

Taping rules for ISSF Pistol

I was reading the rules for 25 metre pistol and one of the factors to be checked for is "Taping" on the grip.
Can someone please tell me what this means?
Is it that there can be no kind of tape of the grip?

Thank you

Any way to modify Co2 pistol to shoot compressed air

I know this has been asked many times but I have an old Walther CP2 Match pistol using Co2.
All spares are now unavailable esp seals and "O" rings.
I was wondering is there is any way to modify this to use compressed air cylinders?
My thought is NOT but seeking wiser counsel.

Thank you

Re: MantisX

I have been using a Mantis for ISSF airpistol and Centre Fire pistol. I had some issues with shot detection when dry firing my Morini 162 E but they made a tweak to the algorithm and I am waiting to see how this works. I have used this with a Walther GSP in .22 and . 32 Wadcutter for live shooting a...

Trigger adjustment for Hammerli 206 .22 short

I have a Hammerli in .22 short with a 7 pluc inch barrel and threaded barrel for a muzzle break. Now that Rapid Fire with .22 short is done I would like to use this for training for Standard Pistol (ISSF) Any ideas on how the trigger weight can be increased from 200 gms to 1000 gms?

Re: New to shooting

Wouter, I live in India but have been working for Flanders International Trade and the Port of Antwerp for over 20 years. I know there is a pistol range in Dendermonde and a lot of good friendly people who can help you with your questions. In Holland there is a shop called Krale which has good price...

Re: Trigger Shoe-Hammerli 208/International

I have a Hammerli 208 and at one time almost all shooters in India used one. I never saw a trigger shoe. The factory trigger is good and comfortable. You could get something made which would fit over the standard trigger. If you have a drawing please send it to me and I can ask if someone can make a...
