Re: Grouping follow the sun ?

Don Nygord used to say grouping follows the direction of sun due to reflection off front sight edge, shifting front sight in that direction, thus grouping follows in that direction. While many others said no effect. https://starreloaders.com/edhall/nwongmain/ironsightsurvey.html But my own experien...

Thanks for the support Huck on the previous post but i just ignore crap like that. I was just trying to help shooting fellows having issues with their FAS, not blow smoke up my ass for the work I pretty much copied from Slofyr....all the credit goes to him. Re: Improve the FAS 6004

This is the thread that wouldn't die. I never would have guessed there were so many people who really wanted to buy an air pistol in kit form - missing some the necessary parts in the box. "Sweet spotting the trigger took me a full morning messing about but trounces everything up to a 1k PCP.&...

Re: Improve the FAS 6004

The FAS O ring is a strange size...being 6.8mm inside diameter x 1.78mm thickness but selecting an 010 size works best .. The 2mm cross section being a tight squeeze will go in. I polished 0.2mm out of the outer diameter of the groove on mine for a nice slide on std 2mm thick seals. Don't get 10x7x...

Re: What New Free Pistol

I called Fort Smith a few weeks ago and left a message and never got a return call. I think they support their direct dealers. I am hoping to find out about the one they have and close a deal, hopefully today. I used to call on Sam Walton when he was alive and still involved, so I spent time in For...

Re: What New Free Pistol

Thanks Tom, I may look into the Pardini too, but currently I am leaning toward the Walther FP500. Fort Smith will provide support. Bob Have you found a stocking dealer for the FP500? I asked Fort Smith directly and they haven't replied (which I find rude, having partially grown up there and still h...

While you are on a hot streak, you might want to venture to two unobstructed eyes shooting. Give it a bit more time, you might join the few, the proud, the two eye marines. Well ... I am interested in a bigger cohort study to see whether people can shoot as well, if not better, with two eyes vs two eyes+occluder. Every body gives it a good go. If it is crap, it is crap. But I don't think so. Too many golds are won by guys with no occluders. I have tried for years to shoot two ...
