Re: Is Free Pistol dead now? Standard?
Years ago I went with a friend of mine to help him pick out an engagement ring for his girl friend. He had just gotten back from Vietnam and there were three of us all dressed very very casually. The jeweler showed us some things, but they were less expensive and for sure less spectacular and my fri...

Re: Skeet vs Trap shooting - differences and guns
Trap and Skeet are very different shotgun / clay games. Major difference between a Skeet Shotgun and a Trap Shotgun, though there are cross ovr shot guns out there that can do both, but that require re-adjusting the stock and changing chokes. Skeet is shot from 8 different stations and uses two trap...

Re: Is Free Pistol dead now? Standard?
A few of us here in East Hampton, on Long Island are trying to get a league started with club matches in Free Pistol. Fortunately we have the facilities and enough members with Free Pistols.

Re: TOZ 35M - a Blind Purchase
Paid $468 USD here in the states for mine. Then added $300 for Rink Grips. Don't know what the current exchange rate is but 200 euros sounds like a great price.

Re: Soft cases for large free pistols?
I think that my Remington XP-100 Soft Case may be able to hold my Morini CM84E or my FP500 Free Pistols. I am out of town for a while, but will check when I get back home. They can be found used on the web. Also have a soft UZI case that would probably work well. Or maybe: https://www.bing.com/image...

Re: Powder Scale Recommendations
The best beam scale I have owned is the Scott Parker converted M5 Lyman. I agree if you are looking for a used one, get one of the older ones that were made in the U.S.

Re: Did the surplus Toz-35's evaporate?
As a verb, there is both a Chemical Definition and a Psychoanalytic definition of Sublime as well as sublimate. Sublime is useable for sure, but in engineering school we used Sublimate for the transformation of solid directly to vapor. Not that it really matters one way or the other. I have yet to s...

Re: Did the surplus Toz-35's evaporate?
I think you mean Sublimated. Glad I got one when I did. Now that I have a Walther FP500 and a Morini 84E I will probably sell the Toz and maybe I can even get some of the $340.00 I spent on Rink Grips back.

Re: Why are Bullseye shooters such pussies?
I shoot registered Skeet, which in the old days (when I was a pretty good shooter) this was not a money sport and fees were low. Now it has gotten like Trap and for me to shoot a full registered regiment (doubles, and all 4 gauges) the entrance fees are about $310.00 plus ammo and any shoot offs tha...

Re: Why are Bullseye shooters such pussies?
I am mostly a shotgun shooter, so I like the "Pattern" that I shoot in Bullseye. Nicely dispersed ......... Sometimes, by accident I get a 10X.

Re: Why are Bullseye shooters such pussies?
I did not start shooting Bullseye until I was 71. I doubt that I will ever get good, but I like the game and I just don't understand how I might be hurting anyone by posting mediocre scores. The problem that there seems to be where I am is that there is not enough shooters of any level that are shoo...

Re: Looking for blue laminate grip
Standard Grip? I know that one of my Colt Series 70 S/S Gold Cups came with Blue Laminated Grips. Have you checked with Colt? If that is what you are looking for, I might be interested in selling them. They are brand new on a gun that has not been fired since it left the factory.

Re: Rink grip sizes
I wonder if RINK has small Mens, Small Women's and Small Children's as my Small Rink Grips for the Model 41 certainly look super small next to my Rink Small Grips for my TOZ. I will have to post a picture of them next to each other.
