10punkt9 ordering questions?
UPDATED BELOW, IN CAPS I can buy brand new 190mm cylinders for my Steyr LP-10 from 10punkt9 for about US$100 each, which is a solid half of USA OEM cylinders. Obviously, I would love to save more than $200 as I need two cylinders, but.... So, here are my questions please: 1. Has anyone ordered from ...

Re: ISSF Ammunition Rules
I've been on both ends of that situation. Trying to train .22lr or .32 and have a couple of guys with 9mm, and training 9mm and having someone else training with .22lr. It's not good for the one with the smaller caliber. For 25m center fire pistol you can use a 9mm, as long as it doesn't have a por...

I wear a battery operated heated vest, made by Ororo.

Re: Question about scuba tank fullness....
Thanks for the replies.
Steyr LP-10, two tanks from 2013 and 2014.
The gun was shooting like 6 ring 3 o'clock, very odd.
I haven't done much testing since...

Question about scuba tank fullness....
background: Steyr LP-10 30 cubic foot scuba tank, bestfittings adaptors for my gun So my tank was down to about 2/3 level, and was only filling my PCP air tanks to 150bar vs the 200bar when the tank was full. I took it to the scuba store, they said, "Well, it's not even half empty, so we filled...

Re: Just a heads-up on ammo at CMP
I took a look yesterday, have four cases of .22 SV, mostly Eley, some SK. So I am not a buyer at the moment.
Very curious what ships to you from the "federal" .22 offer.

They will all (most likely) shoot better than you or I can.
Consider local service.
I did and ended up with a LP-10, extremely happy.

Re: Realistic Bullseye goals for beginner shooter
Cranky/Geo, Yes indeed. Right above my desk I have a binder clip with every 100 target I have ever shot, plus my 50' 294 personal best, and that elusive 50' B-2 100 shot July 20, 2020 at Cape Gun Works, Hyannis, Mass. The most amazing thing about that slow fire 100 is that I followed it up with a 94...

Open sights only, the .45 with jacketed ammo only.
Maybe it's different elsewhere.
Hmm, I shot a 2700 yesterday here in Connecticut, and there were two EIC's, both 300 only. One .22 and one .45. Slow at 50 yards, timed and rapid at 25 yards. 10 shots each

Re: Steyr EVO 10 - does barrel color matter?
Please ignore the snark of the post just above from R0v3r. Barrel color does not matter at all. I have a Steyr LP-10, one silver, one blue air tank. No difference at all. All you see is the front sight. Now the grip, that is another story. I immediately changed mine to a Rink. Best $275 you'll ever ...
