Re: Home Electronic Scoring Systems 2022

Thanks, all. I am diving deeper intonthis than I thought and I am considering all the input. I still am not sure which way to go, but I get it sorted in the next month or so. I am in the Lower 48 until then but hope to have a system shipped to Alaska and waiting for me when I return.

Home Electronic Scoring Systems 2022

I had a cobbled together outfit in my old home before I moved last year that broadcast the Target on a TV and then I used TargetScan to score. I won’t be able to do that in the place we currently live and I would like to get a “real” electronic scoring system that would display shots on a laptop or ...

Gun hanger/hook for off hand stand

Does anybody currently make a hanger or hooks for an off hand stand that allows a rifle to be "hung" there? I checked out old threads but can find nothing current. I understand the risk of the situation and don't intend to use it except in a very specific situation. I recently bought an wi...

Re: Where can I spectate or compete in 10M AR or AP matches?

Division 1 and 2 NCAA programs feature top notch shooters, They are generally accessible outside of matches, There are 2 programs in GA. GA Southern U is a women' only program. [Check out the TCU team if you want to see women shooters win all categories]. The University of North GA has a D2 program....

Re: Air Pistol brand with the most support in the US?

I acquired two older Steyrs - an LP5 owned by Don Nygord and an LP10 that originally was a CO2 pistol. Our host updated both and converted the later. His service as quick, efficient, and reasonable. His assistant was polite, patient, and responsive. Without gainsaying good service from others, Pilki...

Re: Rear sight for FWB 700

I have been in touch with Mark Trew. He has been patient and thorough about what would best for an older shooter. I have ordered a Centra Spy Long and other equipment. I am looking forward to using his equipment and will report back at some point in the future. Thanks to all, particularly Mark Trew,...

Re: School me on scopes for BE

I have about a half dozen Ultra Dots in both 1" and 30mm tubes. I can say without hesitation that I prefer the 1" tubes. All the Ultra Dots are like the old Timex commercial: they take a licking but keep on ticking. I do have an Aimpoint Micro on a SBR AR 15. It is a tremendous sight. I wo...

Re: Rear sight for FWB 700

pfiori, that is exactly what I need to know. It seems odd that it wouldn't be a standard 11mm dovetail, but I will try to measure it tomorrow. No sense is buying a sight that won't fit.

Re: Rear sight for FWB 700

Folks, thanks for the responses. I have contacted Mark Trew via PM. My concern with the OEM sight is not huge. I just find that it doesn't seem "solid" when I make adjustments and it seems fairly big. I am not shooting outdoors but I would like to able to see more downrange around the sigh...

Rear sight for FWB 700

I picked up a FWB 700 and am pleased with the rifle. I don't care for the OEM rear sight and would like to replace it. Any recommendations for another rear sight like some model of Anschutz or Walther or Centra? I have never seen a Centra Spy Short, but it looks compact and stout. Also, will other r...

Re: Benelli M95 .32 FTF

Good news. We shot an indoor 900 match last night. The Benelli worked fine and did not have a problem picking up the last round on any magazine. I was thinking rcma was on the right track about magazine springs, but, operating under the law of parsimony, I did a thorough chamber cleaning and changed...

Re: Benelli M95 .32 FTF

J, the reloads may be chubby, but they chamber fine and the first 4 rounds feed properly. I will check dimensions more closely once we shoot it tomorrow night and see if the buffer replacement worked. Thanks for the tip.
