Re: Walther SSP "Spezialfett" special grease

I was actually asking about 22LR pistol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_SSP, apologies if SSP model was misleading, I did not know that it might be interpreted as airgun :).

Re: How to safely decock Walther SSP?

Yes this is a neat trick. But when I eject it by moving the slide back it will also cock the trigger again. Yellow anchors work great as dummy rounds but I’m afraid it will not for just decocking. Thank you for this idea!

Re: Walther SSP "Spezialfett" special grease

As I understand, the grease used for the air damper in SSP is radically different from the normal gun oil you would use for the rest of your gun parts. I have a variety of gun oils I normally use on all my guns, but the air damper uses rubber seal (o-ring) that can be damaged by any petroleum base o...

Walther SSP "Spezialfett" special grease

Walther SSP owners, what do you use instead of "Spezialfett" special grease? Any specific brand and type recommendation? Manual says to use only this super special secret lube and does not provide any information about substitute when you run out of it. Walther stopped selling it long time...
