Re: Miracle Cure for Fussy Benelli .22's!

That may actually be a mistake. You want the extractor softer than the bolt so it wears and not the hole in the bolt, which is WAY more difficult to repair. Also, before you drive yourself crazy unnecessarily, have you seen this?: https://www.targettalk.org/download/file.php?id=27790 Yes exacly, th...

Re: Miracle Cure for Fussy Benelli .22's!

Usually the extractor corners wear faster than the bolt. I'd start with a new extractor. Also, see: https://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?p=274529#p274529 and: Benelli Extractor Tuning.pdf Thanks for the link, I forgot to mention that precvious owner being an old man and therefore way wiser than...

Re: Miracle Cure for Fussy Benelli .22's!

Finally had time to test the now demagnetized Benelli at the range. It worked pretty good, but I had 2 out of 70 shots ending up as a failure to eject, both being the last shot in the series of 5. IMG_2024-08-31-145059.jpeg I also noticed the spent brass was ejected in diffferent directions from tim...

Re: Miracle Cure for Fussy Benelli .22's!

VERY interesting! That's not something I've run across. Thanks for sharing that. I would expect that it could make the extractor and recoil spring systems a tiny bit stickier. I often re-grind the extractors a bit. That process frequently magnetizes them, so I'm used to demagnetizing stuff. Havent ...

Re: Miracle Cure for Fussy Benelli .22's!

Being an old Benelli shooter I now have the great pleasure of un-fuzzing one of the club Benellis that, well, does Benelli things. Its old and worn but I will throw my secret magic spells at it in the hope something might work. Anyway, while tearing it down I found a peculiar thing, the bolt is magn...

Steyr compensators

I have been eyeing the smexy 8 duct compensator Steyr released with the evo 10 pistol for some time, curious if there is any benefits to it. Had to order a few other things and figured I might as well.. Surely the performance enhancing qualities would cure my trigger freeze once and for all? Now, I ...

Shoot me a pm with an email adress and info what targets you need and the distance between target and your eye and I can send you scaled targets from my Scatt software as pdf’s. Looking for target projection app

I recently bought a Scatt shooting trainer and have found it to be quite picky when it comes to target illumination. I have a light box that works but it came to me that an app for ipad or android tablet where you can chose target and scale for distance would be ideal. I made a test with a black dot...

Re: New Xmas Toy, Walther GSP500

I dont like the look of it but it seems like a great mechanical design and well put together. If I were shopping for a new pistol it would probably be at the top of the list.
Id probably come to terms with the look soon enough if my target look like yours 😁

Thank you for the information, that was my guess as it seems logical but I got thrown off as I felt as if the target size was more correct if I placed myself at the printed distance. Must be my mind playing tricks on me.

Re: SCATT distance

Just bought myself a Scatt Basic and plan to practice both air pistol and small bore 25 and 50m. I have an illuminated target holder for fairly close range (about 3m), but I have a hard time to figure out how Im supposed to measure the exact distance, is it from target to sensor or from target to sh...

Been absent from AP during summer months, took a little while to get up to speed again but then it fell into place. emre-nur wrote: Thu Sep 09, 2021 8:30 am How do you mount the wi-fi camera. I have no nearby walls around the target. How much do they zoom in? I can put it on a desk 2-3 meters away. Would this work?
I use a camera tripod and place the camera slightly lower in front of the target.

My best rimfire group ever

Over the moon with this one as I shot it in competition at our national championships.
No comments on the mediocre total score haha, nerves must have got the best of me first five shots (I shot 42-49 for the 91 score)

Lets see your awesome groups!
