I used one of these on my Savage Mark II-FV (scoped) to raise the comb height and it worked great! I just screwed it right into the factory plastic stock on the Savage.

I wish my parents would buy one for me but at 25 I am kinda past that stage lol

Between rent/car payment etc etc etc it may be a few months before I can swing getting one but it will happen :)

I have decided to keep the savage as it is and save up for a dedicated target rifle for 3 position. It will take a while for me to save up enough $$ to make it happen, but until then I'll keep shooting my savage and the s&w 22a

It unforutatly does not have a rail, I am somewhat thinking of leaving the Savage as it is and save up to get one of these

I went to CMU and still live in Mt Pleasant, MI...I just emailed the rifle club the other day to see if the club is open to alumni as well as students (graduated in 04)

I have a S&W 22a on lay-away right now also :)

Newbie

Just wanted to introduce my self, I just got into shooting last year. I purchased a 22lr rifle and have mainly been plinking/informal target shooting by myself. I generally shoot at 50 or 75 yards in the prone position. Right now I am a horrible offhand shot. I have a savage markII-FV, certainly not...
