I have four of Mr. Madison's (Mwerks) excellent rod guides. Unfortunately; he is retired. I talked with him about four months ago.

Re: Picatinny rail for KK500?
Shakeyaim, I have EGW mounts on two CZ 452s. They'll probably work, but don't look like they were made for the rifle Like your 419....and I'm anal.

Re: Picatinny rail for KK500?
Shakeyaim, That's a really nice fit. I don't think I'm going to get close to that without going custom.
Thauglor, I have a ton of money invested in two scopes with 1 piece qd rings that work great on the rest of my rifles...all Picatinny rails.

Re: Picatinny rail for KK500?
I don't have my barelled action yet. I'm assuming that the riser is clamped to an 11mm dovetail by the three socket head cap screws; so I think my EGW 452 adaptors might work in it's place. I don't want to tap anything. The o.e.m. riser is pretty stout and looks like it may add some stiffness to the...

Picatinny rail for KK500?
Does anyone make a Picatinny direct replacement for the rear sight riser on a KK500? I would prefer not to stack another mount on top of it.
Thanks,
Gerry

Re: Trigger Overtravel Adjustment
Hi Tim, I've always wondered about that. It seems the bullet is only in the barrel for two or three thousandths of a second. Can anyone move their finger to the stop that quickly? Can you point me to a thread where this is discussed? I can't find anything that relates overtravel with chamber to muzz...

"Thanks for your response. Now I have to ask a dumb question. My scope is 3X15. Is it 5X or 15X? If it is 15X, it is not too far away. I have no range to test this. I hope I can make it work." No dumb questions. It's both, and more. 3x to 15x variable. There is a third number and that is o...

Hi Gunter,
I figured it out. Slooooowly. This is my old equipment and the start of something new. I ran into some health issues a few years back and sold everything.

Re: New targets - 50m Bench Rest UK
Hi Gunter, I'm sure no expert. You would get a lot of good advice from those targets from Rimfire Accuracy, and Kevin Nevius if he was still here. What I'm seeing there, for me, would be a scope parallax problem. No I haven't even ordered the KK500 yet. The scope, rest, and stock pretty much used up...

Re: New targets - 50m Bench Rest UK
What have you got there Gunter; an Anschutz? I've been out of rimfire for awhile, but I'm sort of backing back in. I have an excuse for benchrest. I'm 72, and a lifetime of manual labor have left me with a pretty good case of Osteoarthritis. For me, kneeling and prone suck. Unkneeling and unproning ...

Re: New targets - 50m Bench Rest UK
Gunter, Try This. Instead of shooting 1 through 10, shoot 1-2-3-4-6-5-7-8-9-10, 1-7-8-5-2-3-6-9-10-4. Horizontal shifts will be much smaller.
Good luck to you,
Gerry

Re: New targets - 50m Bench Rest UK
Gunter, I'm an experienced novice. You'll find the experts at Rimfire Accuracy. Wow; y'all use no rear rest! I did not know that. As you probably know, most American rimfire benchrest competition is ARA and IR 50/50. Both use a 25 shot (5 x 5) target so there is quite a bit of movement involved; but...

Walther fluted barrel KK500
Walther has a stainless fluted barrel as an option on the KK500; 690 mm length, and same diameter as the standard barrel. Does anyone have any experience with this barrel?
Thanks,
Gerry
