True Nev, but you're basing your comments on being an australian. I did get this gun which included 10K of short amo and it's provided a cheap way to practice rapid and othr 25m events - admittedly with very little gun recoil. Based in Brunei at the moment and in local club shoots no-0ne is particul...

Thanks for this feedback. Quality of air could be a good point. Using a rika electric compressor (4 years old) which has never been serviced and in humid conditions. (club is in Brunei) We have also used scuba tanks but have no idea on the quality of air that is used to fill them. Looks like I need ...

Not that old. 8/2006 all three. Oil the gun? (I've slightly greased the o rings) Put oil in the wrong spot? Now I'm really confused. Never heard of oiling a LP 10 and can't find a word about it in the manual - in fact my manual states on page 38 "no oiling required". Am I missing something...

LP 10 air cyclinder repairs?

Can you tell me whther the air cyclinders for the LP 10 can be serviced or repaired? I have three of them at the club that refuse to take air. I guessing it's some sort of seal problem but have read enough to know not to play with these things. New cyclinders are quite expensive, so can they be serv...

Hammerli 230 short

I have an opportunity to own a hannerli 230 short. It's is good condition. I know nothing about this pistol and finding it very hard to get some good general basic information. For example: Can it be dry fired? Can it be converted to 'long'? Does it have a safety catch? Where can I get a copy of the...

Only one thought.
Will it be too noisy, thereby interfering with the 'click'
of the trigger being picked up by th sensor?

Robert, great photo's thanks. One question (dumb) as I can't work out how you get the five plates to return to upright after they've been knocked down. Something to do with the bar that runs accross the entire back? One photo shows this bar hinged into place at the centre, so that threw me off. Thanks

Then edster99, I believe you may not have fitted or had experience with one of these triggers. Here's my first hand experience. I set my trigger weight to 535gms using a 500gm weight (from anshultz) plus an extra 35 grams. (70 x RWS 0.50g pellets in a small plastic bag). I hang the knife edge of the...

That's a great photo jipe - now all can see what we are talking about. Yes - and here's my point....."the centre can be easily identified". Look carefully. The centre consists of 'raised teeth'. (where the srew hole is)The knife edge of the weight arm will not sit on these. So? Does the sc...

ausdiver99 - you obviously have never seen one of these triggers. This is not about the testers or we competitors getting srewed up. It's not about trying to sneak around the rules. The dremmel idea of Richards is terrific. You need to see the trigger to understand why scrutineers have trouble calcu...

Jipe wrote: I do not understand why you were disqualified. Normally, the trigger check should be done before the match and if it fails, you should have the opportunity to adjust it. Yes Jipe - that's the trap. it passed before the match with a different scrutineer and then failed afterwards due to t...

I'm using one too on my LP 10. Careful though. I think they may have made this trigger for air rifles as I've failed a trigger weight test after a match and was disqualified. There's no true 'middle' part of the blade to hang the weight from. The knife blade of the weight arm has to sit inbetween th...

Praise for a couple of Aussies

I would like to share my praise for a couple of Aussies who have made a great difference to my shooting AP and free. Pass on what I’ve gained. In fact I was going to post about two months ago, but my improvement has been so dramatic that I waited a little longer thinking it was all to good to be tru...

Yes, Scott - please don't add any 'flash' web site programming. Incredibly frustrating (and time consuming) for those in countires where we only have a 'dial up' internet connection. The tabs on the top of your web page is great. maybe expand a little more. (if too many they can always run down the ...

Yes I checked with my friend who recommended Gary Forde in Australia. He purchased his IZH-35M (springs, pins, sights, magazines) kit in November 2007 for AUD$72.50. Apologies for my info being a bit 'dated'. I see on his web site he's out of stock of the pistol itself too.

Gary Forde in Australia has parts. Even a 'kit' for the IZH 35M which contains a stack of spare parts, springs, sight blades and two magazines for about AUD$80 total.
He's superb to deal with too.
