Re: TOZ side cocking mod
Has anyone ever made a dimensional drawing of the TOZ side cocking modification? I was trying to describe it to a machinist and he wants to work from a drawing. look on Olympic Pistol, search for the thread "toz modifications",and there are plenty of pictures that should explain the process

Toz fitting
I had a similar problem, which I solved by modifying the inletting inside the grip to effectively move the metal work back towards the web of my hand. I admit changing the interior inletting of an expensive grip is not for the "financially faint-hearted",but there is a large volume of wood ...

those of you who let your egos get the better of you, should refrain from venting on what was an interesting topic, thus turning it into unrelated drivel.

If you have a toz-35,and not the 35-m,you would have to cut the foresight off to fit the Ti-600 compensator. Not a big deal...I have done it with a hacksaw ,and careful filing. There is also the need for careful measuring of the diameter at the muzzle area for approx 1.25 inches,as the sleeve that is...

I'm with jsealc21 on this. Isn't the free pistol supposed to be the ultimate in handgun accuracy? Those designers who placed the barrel line really low with respect to the hand did it for the express purpose of minimizing muzzle deviation caused by recoil. The way the gun recoils will vary from sho...

To start off the only reason you NEED a recoil absorber is when you need to get back on target for a follow up shot. In FP and AP there is no follow up shot so you would not need one. The only reason I think my LP10 has one is they could put one in very easy and it was a way to sell more pistols. I...

If airpistols have recoil absorbers, with their minute energy outputs, why not something similar in a free pistol ? I trust someone more knowledgeable than my humble self might shed some light .... Hi Johnathon, I'm less knowlegeable than you, therefore I don't know either. But I do want to let you k...

Re: Pellet trap/ backdrop recommendation
Would the 1/2 inch thick kitchen plastic cutting board, angled at 45 degree, suffice as a quiet backdrop? Doubtful. It might catch pellets for a while. But would eventually break down. If quiet is the requirement, nothing will be quieter than the duct seal putty based traps. They just require a bit...

If you remove the front sight blade there is a screw underneath it. Remove the screw and that front site housing will slide off. Pretty sure that there is only one small screw holding front sight blade. Front sight housing sticks very tightly and I suspect that it's put by warming up the housing ri...
