.22 match wadcutter pellet for Daisy 722?

I am trying to wring out max accuracy, and like clean cut holes. I did a search and in .22 cal found RWS hobby, Meisterkugeln, and JSP match all i...

Re: Daisy 747 construction?
Ok!...thank you!....I am just sure my brown handled 717 was brass inside the Piston tube, but that was more than 25 years ago, I could be forgetful on my blood pressure meds. I guess it does not matter, brass would be corrosion resistant but a little more easy to damage so I am not sure what materia...

Re: Daisy 747 construction?
I read a Review online where the reviewer compared a 777 to a 747, the 777 was a heavier pistol. This makes perfect sense with the solid wood grips and steel rear sight however said reviewer thought that after Daisy dropped the 777 they also changed the Piston tube from brass to steel on the remaini...

Re: Hammerli 280 Ultimate buyers Guide?
So, I have a question, it seems the early models have a safety in the grip....if that is not present, did the safety move to the trigger guard? Or other location, or get removed all together?.... It's not totally out of question for a Target pistol not to have a safety....

Hammerli 280 Ultimate buyers Guide?
Hello, I have admired the Hammerli 280 for years, I have recently seriously considering purchasing one. I have always admired accurate 22 rimefire, my useage for the pistol would be honing my pistol skills, and Small game hunting! So with that being said, they don't come at low cost, I find little o...

Cost to ad recoil dampener system to Feinwerkbau 601?
Hello, I am searching for a RH Feinwerkbau 603 full size, lots of 600 to 601 have turned up at value price, which leads me to wonder the cost and difficulty to ad the system to an older model. I am a Tool and Die maker so self machining is readily available, but I would just like to get a feel for h...

Re: Where to find 5 meter reduced size air pistol targets
I went back and looked at the eBay ad, the pictures showed this target, if they indeed cut as clean a hole as picture shows I'm in! I added 3 packs to my cart before shipping showed less than cost of targets....grrrr I will give them a go, and report back here with my results. PS: I did love the ide...

Hello, I want to order my first set of aftermarket grips, as I do not currently belong to a shooting club yet I do not have the benefit of trying other shooters grips for size and fit. Re: Where to find 5 meter reduced size air pistol targets
Wow...those are some super nice clean cut holes!...I have been away from organized match shooting for 20 years, a recent purchase of beautiful Fienwerkbau match pistol has me looking for local matches to join, but want to practice a bit in my tiny apartment. I got some paper targets from Walmart but...
