Re: Who can afford this?

Interesting comments, so I'll add mine. From 1986 to early 1992, I was on the USAF International Pistol Team and made the USA International Pistol Team in 1990. During those years, we shot the National Championships at Prado Tiro range in River Side Calif. While there was a PTO score to shoot to go ...

Re: For olympic 10m pistol, how do people use up the entire 75 minutes for 60 shots?

Way back when, you got a stack of 60 single bull targets and 4 single bull targets with a black stripe on them. You could shoot unlimited sighting shots with no time limit. However that time spent came out of your overall allotted time. Once you shot the first record target, you could not go back to...

Re: For olympic 10m pistol, how do people use up the entire 75 minutes for 60 shots?

Back when the National Championships were shot at Prado Tiro, near Riverside California, I seem to remember we had 2 hours for air pistol. Anyway, some competitors would sit down every 10 shots for a couple of minutes, maybe read a page or two from a book, eat a bite of food or take a drink of water...

Re: .32 S&W Long WC Loads

WST is great in this round. Meters very well, clean burning also. 1.7 or 1.8 of it and a 98gr HBWC out of a Pardini works very well.

Re: 32 s&w l wc and WST

A Pardini with one of Daves barrels in 32 S&W Long, a good 98grn HBWC and 1.8 grs of WST, will hold the Ten ring at 50yds all day long. The set up will do this, but probably not with me holding it. To many shakes.

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.

I agree with the ISSF comment. The load command means load the magazine. Pulling a pre loaded magazine out of your gun box is a real big OOPS! Could get you sent home with out firing a shot.

dates on PCP cylinders

OK, after all the posts about cylinder dates, I looked at my FWB P-44. It is 1-13. My question is, is this the expiration date, or the made date? Thanks.
