Re: FWB 300

I am RH, but shoot LH and shoot RH guns. It works well for offhand and from a bench.

Re: FWB 80 energy

My 80 shoots in the 450-450 range with 7.0 grain pellets, it doesn’t really like pellets over 8 grains. I shoot RWS Basics in it most of the time.

When I rebuilt mine I was told to replace the dual springs with a single spring.

To the topic at hand, the quote by Samuel Adams, I like it.

Now perhaps William, you too will return to it.

Re: Love this quote

One must wonder how Mason, Washington, Henry, Tucker and others might react if they were to come back to life and witness the daily carnage extreme (mis?)interpretation of their idea leads to. "In 2017, the most recent year for which complete data is available, 39,773 people died from firearm-...

Thanks. I shot it the other day, it's back in the box. I wasn't very impressed.

Re: Air Rifle Trainer

For about $500 you can pick up a FWB 300 or for $650 or so you can find a 600 series FWB. The 300 is a springer and the 600 series are single stroke pneumatic and both are very accurate.

Re: Test Pellet Assortment Packs?

I picked up H&N Field Target, RWS and JSB sampler packs when I was testing with my 34. None of the RWS stuff shot well in any of my rifles. For 10M guns I didn’t find any sampler packs so I just bought individual tins. I also have a FWB 80 air pistol and it shoots RWS Basics pretty good offhand ...

Re: Olympic BREAKDANCING ???

You like it, fine, I prefer traditional sports. Considering the history of artistic events at the Olympics, it's a bit hypocritical to consider Shooting "traditional". And I suspect like many others you consider that shooting should have some kind of historical protection that removes con...

Re: Olympic BREAKDANCING ???

I suppose we'll see line dancing and two step competition next. The Dancesport federation represents competition in many dance disciplines. Get over it. There is nothing to "get over" as I don't have a problem with dance. I guess I'm like lots of other folks that don't consider dance as a...

Re: Olympic BREAKDANCING ???

I only have one question. When did breakdancing become a sport? Ever since people decided to hold competitions. Then they (https://www.worlddancesport.org/) did everything necessary to get themselves recognised by the IOC. Which makes them one of the members here: https://www.arisf.sport/members.as...

Re: old vs new tech

If you compare the test targets of older air pistols to the new ones, there isn't much difference. The two major improvement are compressed gas and ergonomics/adjustability. Those can make it easier for a shooter to access the fundamental accuracy of the barrel. The compressed gas saves a bit of wo...

FWB 80 disassembly?

I have my 80 apart for a rebuild and have a couple questions. First the two pins in the front for the recoil system don't want to come out, I have the four E clips removed and they won't budge. Is driving them out the front with a punch the only way to remove them? I have some yellow brass that I ca...
