Re: Walther LP500; any good?
Could do; although it's a shame one would need to improvise with such an expensive pistol. This issue might be a "game-changer" for those who prefer pistols weighing more than 950g, and don't want a weight bar poking-out forward of the trigger guard. Will we see LP500's in cup finals stuff...

Re: Walther LP500; any good?
Sorry, you misunderstood me. I'm well aware of how to add the 10 g weights (up to four maximum). That would bring the total pistol weight to 950g (910 + 40). What I'm suggesting is that if you need the pistol (c/w medium grip) to weigh more than 950g; you're out of luck. Only option is to attach a w...

Re: Walther LP500; any good?
Frontier Firearms is the distributor for Australia (my location). My concern about the LP500 is that if I need it to be more than 1,000 g, there's nowhere to pack the additional weight without attaching a weight bar; not ideal unfortunately.

Re: Walther LP500; any good?
My head tells me to buy a K12, but my heart says get the LP500. Head or heart; which will prevail? Bets anyone?

Re: Walther LP500; any good?
That German thread was an interesting read, including a claim that many of the parts are being manufactured in Asia (really?). My biggest frustration with the LP400 was that it would seldom hold the trigger weight; always had to readjust it. Hopefully, Walther have fixed this with the LP500?

Re: Walther LP500; any good?
Many thanks to those who have shared their experiences. Yes, the LP500 is expensive, but so are BMW's from Germany. As for the Walther LP500 value for money; please give us your thoughts?

Walther LP500; any good?
Ok, so there was lots of speculation about this pistol in a previous thread, but precious little impressions by those who actually bought one. If you own a LP500, are you happy with your purchase?

Re: Walther LP500!?
Carrie, which LP500 did you order? Also, mechanical or electronic trigger? I'm keen to know whether the new mechanical trigger is exactly the same configuration as the mechanical trigger on the LP400?

Re: Walther LP500!?
Is the mechanical trigger mechanism on this the same as the last version of the LP400?

Re: Walther LP500!?
Looks like you need to purchase several 10g inline weights if you want the pistol to approach 1 kg. How many will fit under the barrel?

Regular or Slim volume re: LP400 3D Walnut Grips
It seems that one has a choice between regular or slim volumes for the standard 3D Walnut grip? I was never aware; is this choice something new?
