700 Euros on egun. Not a Morini grip, btw, but a Nill, therefore not original. So much for the know-how of the seller. And good luck trying to find spares.

Not true. There were earlier "International" models with a safety on the left side, behind the trigger guard, like on a SIG 210 or so. You can see that when you google the 212 model, many of those had the safety. And then there was a later, very limited series of pistols, made for the US, ...

They are, like other manufacturers, of the opinion that once your grip fits, everything adjustable is just a distraction.

Depends on where you put the weights - out of the box, none of them all suits me well. The Pardini tank seems incredibly light, and the pistol is pretty light, but that might be the colour :-) Had no problems balancing my K12, enough options to add weight. The rear frame feels a bit more substantial...

Got one, and I like it. But can't say that it's noticeably better or worse than any other current top level pistol. Missing grip adjustment sucks a bit, but the trigger is as good as everybody says, and build quality is (on mine, so far) top notch, better than the last Steyrs I had.

I always felt that the only reason for all that stuff around the barrel must be that it is some kind of rotating mechanism, kind of like that FP that Portuguese guy built, where the whole barrel rotates sideways out of the grip, and the chamber ist basically inside the hand. That big hinge out there...

AFAIK, it's a one-off, French, built by Patrick Biebuyck.

Very interesting, I have never seen a GSP Expert with a finish like that. All I ever came across had a conventional black anodized frame.

I swapped barrel, shroud and tanks on my LP50e from long to short, three years ago. Cost me nearly a thousand bucks. But it's easy to do by yourself, 5 minutes.

...you can take the long barrel, the gun will be more stable Nope. It might be more stable, depending on how your muscles work, but there is no guarantee for that. Reaction to balance point etc. is tricky and unpredictable. ...has a longer sight radius than the short making them more accurate Nope....

Not only early ones. 5 minutes of work, and they fit a K2, another 10 minutes and you're good to go on a K12. You can even use them on a FPM, even though that looks beyond ugly.

If you want a shorter sight radius, just move the front sight to it's rearmost position. Completely missing the point. Sight radius is not the relevant thing. Short pistols show a completely different "wobble behaviour" (don't know what that is in english) due to having less mass out ther...

Well, he died in 1987 or so :-/ and he was from an area that is not exactly close to any kind of civilization :-) I actually know a few people who knew him (and shot with him) at the time, and I will certainly ask them when I see them, but you can calculate their age and come up with the answer as t...
