Re: Human vs Vice
Your post reminded me of this thread. Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but any gunsmith should be aware of how a gun shoots from the hand, not just how it performs in a rest...

Re: IZH 46M Parts
Ah, well, in fairness, I hadn't cocked the pistol in probably a year. I only brought it in to show some new shooters. My guess is the piston seal was a little dry, caused some extra friction, he got a little excited, and boom. Not a big deal. I'll get it squared away.

Re: IZH 46M Parts
Yup, although that 200 was actually his. I've got a local guy who offered to weld it. Gonna get it over to him sometime in the next couple weeks. He can machine a new one if welding fails.

IZH 46M Parts
Anyone know of a US source for IZH 46M parts? Specifically need parts 11 and 51. I saw the sight blade listed on ebay, but can't find the transfer bar anywhere.
Thanks!

Re: Corami V Sauer
I will say that I recently bought some Corami's. They felt totally different than either weightlifting or skate shoes. Are they ridiculous? Yes. Do they provide a more stable platform? Yes. They are extremely heavy and rigid. Essentially, they allow more muscles in your leg to be recruited for creat...

Re: No budget constraints
My guess is you're going to get a bunch of different answers. Once you get up to the $2000+ range, all the options are "good". It really boils down to personal preference. I was fortunate enough to be in a position to purchase a "no budget" air pistol last year. I have enough pow...

Champion Olympic Lens flopping
Need some guidance... I have a pair of Champion Olympics, and the right eyepiece just started "flopping" along the frame. So not the lens holder itself, but the piece that slides along the horizontal frame by turning the thumb screw piece. It basically has about 20* of play now, where it w...

So, rather than bump a thread 15 spots down, you just created a new username and started the same thread all over? Why?

Scatt MX-02 vs MX-W2
OK, I'm tired of trying to figure it out. What's the difference? Perhaps it's obvious and I'm just missing it... I'm not terribly familiar with Scatt stuff.

Re: Do you think this grip extends past the Wrist?
Honestly, just looks like he's using a grip far too big for his hand. It does obviously touch his forearm in the first pic. Btw, the second pic is a different shooter/pistol.

Ray,
This is not a formal league! Totally ok to shoot with the 5 shot magazine! Just shoot and post. Don't overthink it!

Re: How do these get scored
Hey Tom!
Leave your initial target on the trap, and place targets 2-6 over it, making sure they each line up! At the end, your initial target will show all 60 shots.

Re: Why are Bullseye shooters such pussies?
Not excusing Rover, but he does make a good point. I firmly believe every BE shooter should shoot air pistol. In fact, every serious BE shooter I know does. And in terms of actually getting better, shooting a lot and hoping to just get better is not limited to BE. You could say the same for any spor...
