I started shooting free pistol with Jerry Wilder’s TOZ. He and Steve probably had a contest to see who’s could be the ugliest! I was simply amazed at the accuracy of this pistol! The forend is untouched but you should see the grip!

Dipnet, The FAS is not a good choice if you plan on a dot sight. The magazine is inserted from the top like the Walther SSP. I mounted an Ultra Dot on a 602 once. I had the opportunity to shoot Chip's Walther just yesterday. As Star7 said, it is a remarkable pistol. Very nice handling characteristics. Great trigger. I can't say there was anything I disliked about it.

If you look at our monthly AP match scores you'll see that Rover shot a 551 with a SAM M10. I'd say it would serve as a backup, or a number 1!

I wanted to shoot a match with my old gun to compare to my newly acquired LP-10
I'm imagining that it may take a bit less effort to shoot the perfect shot with the Steyr. May just be new gun syndrome though!
