Re: Empty pellet tin use?

I put my pocket change in them and toss a couple in my vehicle console. Very handy when I buy fast food, or a convenience store when I just want a soft drink. Local tavern seems to appreciate getting pocket change instead of making it.

Re: Can anyone tell me how to socially distant

80 4H kids, and parents, in NRA BB Gun this fall? I am the youngster in the coaches group at 64. My 40 lane range is now a 16 lane range. Have you confirmed with the 4H youth educator that this event can take place? What are the current 4H guidelines? We had so many restrictions here that I gave up...

Re: Just bought a IZH-46m, Have a question

I have a IZH that does that too. I know nothing about the internals, but I can tell you what I look for to prevent mine from doing that. When you cock it, the loading latch isn't coming up and back far enough. I make it a point to pull that latch fully rearward as I insert the pellet. You'll feel an...

Re: Bullseye rules--Optics question

Thanks for the replies. I can understand why a light weight optic lends itself to easier sighting and better scores. Some follow up...can you fill me in on the history of the decision to allow red dots? Were they always allowed but the popularity grew? Was there opposition to allowing red dots? Was ...

Bullseye rules--Optics question

I read Target Talk but rarely post and don't participate in Bullseye. I'm hoping someone here can give me a nutshell answer rather than me trying to wade thru a online rulebook. In another discipline, a rule change is being proposed to allow red dot optics to compete in an open sight category. The b...

Re: Legality of firearm purchase for club-owned target rifle

An officer of the business (corp, association, LLC, etc) may sign the form as long as a statement, signed under penalty of perjury, is attached to the 4473. See the instructions for line 11A on the back of the form 4473. Yup, that's how our 4H club does it. Each year I get an updated letter from th...

Re: Scope for 25Y offhand RF?

Go with a 3-9x. It will cost the same as a 1-4x and you can always turn it down to 3x. Cranking up the power a bit will simply let you see better, with practice you'll want the extra magnification.
