Re: Target Size and Height Calculator
@SlartyBartFast you take the height of the eye measure to figure out the high corner of the triangle used to calculate distances. Even if the target is at a fixed height, as you move far from it the angle of sight changes and the target seems to go up. You want to keep that angle even if the target ...

Re: Olympic pistol training notes
@400driver I will continue adding materials, also for physical exercise, as I manage to get them, digest them and write them :) I have one in mind with a morning routine but I just can't get to take the videos and pictures for it yet. For tonus means with tension, feeling that your arm is activated,...

Re: Shooting Glasses Option and Question
I have regular glasses with one lense adapted for shooting. When you go to Walmart also ask to have the focal point offset to the right if you are right-handed. My position is perpendicular to the target and the focal point of the glasses is offset 2mm to the right (we don't look straight ahead when...

Re: Shooting glasses Lens color and pupil size ????
Purple tint lens over the optician corrected lens helps with indoors clearness of focus on the sights, at least for older people like myself. I was very surprised when I saw it. But then coach Daniel Goberville told me to ignore all colors and just check regularly for the right correction with the o...

Re: Pistol Training by Olympic Coach Daniel Goberville
Thanks @thirdwheel. Would it be possible for you to share some of the training programs you got from your coach? I think we should build a directory with the most we can get so shooters could use it to get ideas to training. Finding a coach in your area is not a choice for most people.

Doing mixed events and bringing more equality should not mean dropping events. I would love to see women competing for gold in 50m free pistol :)

Re: Pellet gets stuck in barrrel
I had a similar problem and the culprits were the pellets that had serious quality control issues (Gamo Pro Match Competition). When I added them to the pellet box were they are arranged in rows, many would not go in because of size. In another tin I found a hunting pointy head pellet.
