Inband Air electronic target review

Hi fellow shooters, I've published a review of a low cost electronic target from Finland that I think will be interesting for you: https://www.olympicpistol.com/inband-air-electronic-target-review/ Less than half the price of the usual targets and it includes software to manage competitions. I've re...

Re: Wanting to start

What is available in your range?
Try to borrow a gun at your range to get started and test different disciplines.

If you care only about precision, then it try air pistol or free pistol (although it is not an Olympic discipline any more). For more movement rapid fire and sport pistol at 25m.

Re: Shooting in the Cold

You would have to put your pistol in a vise to test this. It may well be you that is too cold :)

Re: Styer EVO 10 (Manual trigger) Grip Adjustment

Evo 10 works exactly the same as LP10. Steyr referred me to those videos to go beyond the instructions in the manual. I remember something about changing the elevation in pairs of screws or only side or front. It is not in the manual so I guess it was in one of the videos. Beware of cracking the gri...

What is missing in the grip information in the post? 😊

Feinwerkbau P8X review: how to improve it?

Hi all, I've just published a review of the Feinwerkbau P8X air pistol that I thought may be interesting to you: https://www.olympicpistol.com/feinwerkbau-p8x-air-pistol-review/ It is an amazingly smooth gun. I think I've done a thorough review, and included a lot of pictures and a couple videos (lo...

Re: Interviews with pistol shooters by a pistol shooter

This is a great initiative Ramon. So far we can see that "one size fits all" isn't quite the case. Celine's response is very insightful. I would like to see Olena Kostevych (she's just great!!), and Antoaneta Boneva (for her unorthodox style). Keep the good work up!! Max. Thanks a lot Max...

Re: SCATT Expert vs Professional

From what I've read in the SCATT forum, the new mobile app is only for the wireless model. I've asked if we will be able to at least use it to see our files but have not received a response yet. It is really worth it to go to the Scatt forum. There are lots of helpful tips and their team is very qui...

Hi all. I hope everything is going well for you in this difficult times. I've started interviewing top pistol shooters and coaches to have a perspective that would be helpful for other pistol shooters. Hi Peter,

I did not specifically ask for scatt experience, but most if not all of these coaches should have it: https://www.olympicpistol.com/coaches/

Re: SCATT Expert vs Professional

An example of a funny change is that under pro, the blue trace in 20/100 of a second and the Expert is at 30/100. All my previous traces allowed me to compare my triggering based on those parameters. I would have thought I'd be able to change it in Expert, but as of now, that is not possible. The t...

Re: SCATT Expert vs Professional

Yours has option of both, mine only has the ' Expert.' It is still a great software :) Write to scatt with your requests. If many of us send recommendations they will probably take them into account. Hi Ramon, I am so disappointed that I upgraded without knowing what I now know! Pro was so useful ,...
