Re: LP10 getting 75 shots
One question no one answered is, the valve assy does not have a separate seal. It is one piece. One thing you failed to mention, is it a compact Steyr. In Australia you do not see too many compact ones. I just assumed the one you have is the full length one. We have the choice to get whatever Steyr ...

Re: LP10 getting 75 shots
My lp50hp just about blows your hat off, but it still gets 750 fps. Firing my LP10 without a pellet does not leak any noticeable air around the catch. But put a pellet in and it does. It is good for a match plus the finals with air to spare. A whiff of air? Hardly enough to explain 75 shots a tank a...

Re: LP10 getting 75 shots
My LP1 years ago lost velocity, the problem ended up being the valve was binding. It was replaced and the problem went away. parts #51 #52 #18 #19 all interact with each other. If #19 hammer does not move freely when the sears release #18 Valve will not be struck with enough force. If #18 valve is s...

Picture of my new spring next to my 4000 shot used one. New 120mm, wide angle lens very close make it look slightly longer.

Re: Group size shrinks when cylinder pressure falls
Crono? Think I missed a H.
LP10 chrono results attached, did not start at 200 bar so shot count not correct for a full cylinder.

Re: Group size shrinks when cylinder pressure falls
A theory is just that until you prove it. Crono it and see If there is a velocity variation between 200 bar at the start of the tank and down near 60 bar at the end of the tank. If there is a significance variation, do what Rover suggested and mount it in a vice as Steyr suggests with a quality pell...

Re: The Regulator in PCP pistols.
I think this illustrates TenMetrePeter's point. LP50hp looks like regulator set to about 110 bar, slows down after 28 shots. My LP10e stays at a consistent velocity until around 65 bar. Do not know the difference in the regulators configuration. Do not plan on pulling it apart to find out.

Re: Steyr Evo 10
Stay compact. Steyr LP50. I have a Steyr LP50hp lots of fun. Use it instead of my free pistol at 50m. Just have to change cylinders every 35 shots. Slows down after 30 shots. The price you pay for 765 fps. Would have got the compact but wanted the velocity. Shot count a bit of a problem with the co...

Re: Steyr Evo 10
Can’t decide on long or compact. I’m interested in 10 metre events and would imagine the longer barrel to be more accurate or am I missing something? Why on an air pistol would a longer barrel be more accurate? What barrel length on a air pistol gives the best accuracy? Is the accuracy of your air ...

Re: Walther SSP trigger adjustment
Thanks for the info so far. I also have a SSP, and the triggel travel is to long for me. After the shot is fired, it is a to long travel back before the trigger is reset and a new shot can be fired. As I understand from the explanation above: -The first stage travel has to be reduced. Is this corre...

Re: Walther SSP trigger adjustment
From looking at the diagram, it looks like all you have to do is adjust Screw A to reduce the length of the first stage. Adjusting the pawl/sear should be unnecessary, and generally shouldn't be touched unless you know what you are doing. It is very easy to make the pistol unsafe if you reduce the ...

Re: Walther SSP trigger adjustment
If you adjust the pawl intersection with screw A and do not adjust screw C at the same time you will reduce the amount of the first stage travel. But the total travel of the trigger will stay the same. Just say before adjustment total trigger movement is five mm. This is made up by a small amount of...

Re: 25 metre RF and Benelli MP 90
Question, how to you aim on a electronic targets and hold sub 6? These targets have no scoring rings. I operate on the idea that if the scoring rings are visible I am not looking at the front sight. The first time I shot on electronic targets I loved it, no irritating scoring rings on any of the tar...

Re: SCATT MX-02 for 25 meter pistol
A five shot group shot on a Scatt USB, match is Military rapid fire 10 second series. Pistol Steyr LP50hp. Sensitivity set to 40 so the sensor does not register multiple shot when one is fired. Dry fire mag used. Not a problem with the LP10e, sensitivity is set at 1.5 to 2.

"Acceleration"? What do you mean? Is this the increase in pistol trace speed just before the shot release because of improper use of the trigger?

Re: Scatt decode....Elliptical factor
My understanding of the elliptical factor for group is it indicates how round the group is, number one would indicate a round group numbers greater or smaller than one would be an elliptical group. The for tracing number is the roundness of the tracing leading up to the shot. I do not pay much atten...

Re: SCATT MX-02 for 25 meter pistol
I use the Scatt USB version and the only five shot series that I have found that can be done are the military rapid fire 10, 8, 6 second series. This is done on one target. And it is the R/F target. I use a LP50 and LP10e for this. I do not know if the MX-2 has more five shot series matches availabl...

Re: walther ssp .22 pistol jamming
If the jam looks like the picture attached, the problem is a failure to eject. My understanding of how shells are ejected is that the shell pushes the slide back, the shell strikes the ejector and pivots around the extractor and is thrown clear. If the extractor is damaged or not fully engaging with...
