Re: preferred muzzle velocity for pardini k12
Old thread but just dropping some chronograph results from a K12J and K12 might help someone one day. RWS R10 7gr 4.49 K12J: Average was 555.39 FPS (Range: 3.4 FPS) K12: Average was 586.4 FPS (Range: 6.6 FPS) RWS R10 8.2gr 4.49 K12J: Average was 505.82 FPS (Range: 4.3 FPS) K12: Average was 526.8 FPS...

Re: K12 Junior - Is velocity adjustment needed?
Cheers for replies. I haven't adjusted it and left as is, just curious, and as kevinweiho said the longer barrel produced higher velocity. For entertainment purposes I put both K12J and K12 full length through a chronograph with the below results. R10 7gr 4.49 K12J: Average was 555.39 FPS K12: Avera...

K12 Junior - Is velocity adjustment needed?
I just purchased a new K12 Junior for my wife to join me and take up the sport of 10m air pistol. I use a full length K12. Hers is noticeably louder, we are both shooting the same RWS R10 7gr pellets. Guessing hers shoots them faster than a full length K12? I’m probably splitting hairs here, but doe...

Thanks BobGee.
It's picked up a little more since then. Hopefully the community jumps on board to keep it sustainable.

Online classified site
Hi all. I am interested in getting feedback from the shooting community around a classifieds site I launched in Australia to buy and sell new and used guns. We have a few sites out there in Australia but they cost up to about $25/listing. When you are selling some firearms worth just a few hundred i...

Which JB Weld to use? Modify Lee adjustable charge
Hi. I have noticed quite a lot of people suggest using JB Weld to modify the Lee adjustable powder charge. I just wanted to know what JB Weld would be best suited for the job ? I am planning to experiment filling in one of the auto disks and then drill it out smaller to see if I can get close to wha...

Re: Smith & Wesson for ISSF Centrefire match
For a new club level shooter the .38 revolver is the easiest to fully get into Centrefire shooting. The revolver is easy to shoot, reliable and the case catcher works. The .38 is easy to reload and is forgiving to early reloading mistakes. You can buy a revolver, 500 cases, a single stage press and...

Re: Smith & Wesson for ISSF Centrefire match
My auto loaders are .32. My revolver is a 14 in.38. All quite accurate enough! My favorite is the Pardini., but if you are set on a revolver, 32’s are hard to find in my locality. Not set on it, just seemed a cheaper way to get into it. I don’t have reloading gear so I’d start with buying factory r...

Re: Smith & Wesson for ISSF Centrefire match
Thanks. I have been waiting for a reply from Wilson’s. There are two shops not too far from me in QLD that have a Model 19 and a 686 at the other, $590 and $650 respectively (Cleavers and The Barn) Is there a significant advantage to the 14 over the 19? As you said, I’d only be shooting .38 in it. A...

Smith & Wesson for ISSF Centrefire match
Hi, I am after a revolver for starting out in Centrefire ISSF match. I am curious for any feedback people may have with experience of the following models and this match in particular. I have found a lot of info online but nothing specific for my answers. Basically I have narrowed it down to a Model...

Re: Help for Hammerli 162
Hi. Apologies for revamping a dead thread. I am curious how your friend went with replacing or fixing the solenoid ? I found a Hammerli 162E for sale, sort of cheap and apparently just needs a new solenoid or for it to be rewound. I am not sure if to take the gamble yet and see if an auto electricia...

I can’t find any facts but I see on another thread a user commented that the LP10E grips are the same make as the EVO ones. Curious if that’s correct.Christopher Miceli wrote:I feel the Evo grips ARE one size smaller than the lp10 and lp1 grips before them

Re: Steyr grip sizing
I feel the Evo grips ARE one size smaller than the lp10 and lp1 grips before them Hmm. Makes it hard without having an opportunity to hold one. I suppose it’s going to be a gamble really. The large I used that felt small was on a 2017 LP2. Do you reckon the grips have changed between a 2012 LP10E a...

Steyr grip sizing
Hi. Just wondering peoples feedback on how they have found steyr grip sizes? I have an opportunity to purchase a reasonably priced LP10E that has a XL grip. My hand width measures 95cm and I have a large Morini grip on my 22 that fits nicely. I tried a mates Large grip on his LP2 steyr and it felt a...
