Shooting Glasses for cheapskates
Here is an easy and VERY inexpensive way to see if shooting Glasses might help your sight picture. If you wear glasses for driving, get a set of the lowest power clip-on reading Glasses you can find. I looked for +0.75, but +1.00 was the best I could do. Use a strip of 1" Scotch Magic tape to o...

Re: Improving Garbage National Paper Targets?
I have had fairly good luck backing National targets with blue painters masking tape. The results at well below Krugers but a big improvement.

Re: Demand for B96 Magazines
I have found a source for at least some parts for AERON air pistols, though far from cheap. Try maysoflondon.co.uk . They have magazines and drawbar kits.

I would be up for 3 or 4 depending on price. More important for me, do you know of anyone who works on and can source parts for AERON pistols?

Re: I need a CO2 tank for a CPM-1
Looks like you solved your problem, but if you really want a new co2 cylinder (maybe to meet the 10 year rule) they are, or were, available by special order through the East Midlands Regional Range in the UK for L153.70 -- the price is at least 2 years old so ???

Re: Aeron Brno B96
A couple of years ago I acquired a B96. It came with an aftermarket grip marked "Tau 7, XLRB7" The grip had been slightly modified to fit the frame and did not allow the full range of adjustment, but it worked fine. I decided to go with the original grip from Aaron Brno. If you are interest...

I find dark rum in the morning coffee seems to settle the sights, but the shots still wander. I wonder.

Re: Launching Fight Hate Not Shooters
As long as we are playing with words, what about, “Be a Marksman; gun control is 10/10 in the black.” The politicly correct folk will go ape over both “... men” and “black” and I think the reasonable will nod “Yes”.

Re: Aeron B98 5 pellet clips
I was able to buy 5-pellet magazines for a B96 (which I expect are the same as those for your B98) from Matt Jackson of Shureshot-airguns in the UK. He is listed as a dealer for Aeron products and can be contacted at mail@sureshot-airguns.co.uk Prices were reasonable and service good.

Re: Recoilless target firearm
I understand the reaction kick of a spring power system. I have had a Diana model 5G whose kick I've never been able to tame and also a model 6 with Giss compensation. Night and day. The model 6 has almost no recoil, but it has some. If it didn't weigh 1500g it might be my favorite. The lightest .22...

Recoilless target firearm
Over 40 years ago FWB came up with their model 65 match air pistol which virtually eliminated recoil due to the power spring. The FWB65 mechanized the "artillery hold" by mounting the spring mechanism on a sledge sliding on rails. It revolutionized precision airguns. Has anyone tried a sim...

I would try Umarex, they are the current US rep for Walther. I had good response and service from them on parts and replacing seals for my Diana model 6.

Problem solved, though not the way I outlined in the initial post. I was able to buy magazines for my Aeron Brno B96 from Matt Jackson at Shureshot-Airguns, ltd. in Suffolk, UK He is a dealer for Aeron.

Need Help Importing AP parts from UK
I recently acquired an Aeron BRNO B96 5-shot self loading CO2 pistol. Works great, I like it. I want to buy 2 or 3 more 5-shot magazines. Aeron does not make pistols any more and my e-mails have yielded no help. Magic 9 Design, Ltd. offers the magazines on their web site, but when I contacted them, ...

Re: "Uncle Don" strikes from the past
I am the proud owner of one of "Uncle Don's" well thought of 717 relatives, mine is a 747. When I first got it, I thought it to be horribly nose heavy and didn't like the "one size fits all" grip. I am cross-dominant, so I made a new grip with 7 degrees of rotation about the vert...

Sig Sauer offers the 320P, which was made for training on their 9mm version. It is CO2 powered and has a 20 round magazine (illegal? in CA). Goes for around $100.
