bearbar,

I am a big user of Wolf .22 Match ammo. I sent an email to Wolf at sales@wolfammo.com and asked if they were changing their .22 contrator from SK to Aguilla. They said no - everything is the same as before.

I have tested Wolf Match and SK Rifle Match(several Lot Numbers) in several rifles(Remington 40X, Winchester 52D, Mossberg 44, and Remington 541X). Accuracy was close but Wolf Match performed better than SV. There was one lot number of Wolf Match that I used in my 40X that had a group of less than 1...

Thank you DR!! I have been planning to buy a couple of extra magazines for my Trailside but I wanted to make sure I bought the latest. I have been holding off until I knew the difference and with the picture you provided the difference is obvious.

Thanks again,

Trailside Competition Magazine ?

I plan to buy a few Trailside magazines. Is this fact? If true how do you tell the difference in the old magazin...

Mako,

Thanks for the information about the Docter Red Dot. I will take a look at it. I currently don't have a Red Dot but I have shot a pistol with one and have an UltraDot on order. It should be in shortly.

Fred, I agree completely. Iron sights is the way to go and I shot service rifle with them for many years but my eyes will not cooperate anymore. I have tried everthing but just can't seem to get a good sight picture with iron sights and I can do much better with red dot sights. Old age is hell. Than...

I am a novice at Bullseye Pistol and have not seen a SSP (pictures only) but would a side mount be practical and/or desirable so that a red dot scope could be mounted on the pistol? Was there a side mount for the top-loading Unique DES 96U or other previously developed top-loading pistol?

Walther SSP Design Question

I have been told it the SSP loads from the top. Would anyone like to comment on why Walther went to a top loading handgun? I can see disadvantages but what are the advantages? Are there other handguns that load that way?

Another point - If you are practicing at your range the guy next to you may be firing his 44 Mag. Use as much protection as you can regardless of what you plan to be firing because the guy next to you may be firing a much louder handgun.
