Re: Looking for SIG hammerli P240 magazines
Hi Leon, I followed the link you gave me and I found that magazine but it is difficult to exchange with the owner. I am not fluent in Italian and, as well as you, I left a message to know whether the magazine is still available. I'm not sure to have reached the very person.... I check Naturabuy and ...

Re: Looking for SIG hammerli P240 magazines
Hello friends, I've eventually purchased a magazine in cal .38 in Switzerland. I paid it with the shipping 172 CHF that is one per one with the US$. As the shop is in Geneva, the guy posted it directly in France, just the other side of the border, therefore I avoided the French customs tax. The prob...

Re: Got the pistol back.....
Hello David, They are home loads. From right to left, I increased the weight of powder by 0.1 gram step, from 0.14 up to 0.17 of Vectan BA10 that is similar to Vihtavuori N310. Cases are Starline. Primers are Winchester. Bullets are H&N HB .355, 148 gr either Gold (Teflon) or Match. Respectively...

Yes SamEEE, you are right. Crazy they are those Austrian to imagine hollow bullets moving around the barrel rather than inside....
By the way, here are my results with the Ransom rest...

Re: USB telescope to assess accuracy shooting
Hello Joe, I fully agree with you when you say that in optic you get what you pay for. Keep in mind that it is only to see holes in a piece of paper, therefore the quality might not be that much necessary. Currently I use a Bushnell scope and I've just purchased a phone support to enhance the comfor...

Re: Got the pistol back.....
Exact Kevinweiho and good morning to all. In fact, I really didn't have confidence in that reduced central part of the original barrel. It's the place where I bulged the old barrel. Therefore, when discussing with Viktor, the engineer in charge at IGB Austria, he said that everything was possible fr...

Got the pistol back.....
Hello to all, I've eventually got my pistol back from Austria. The new barrel is mat black. The little issue are the scratches noticeable on the barrel surface. Curiously more visible on the pictures than on real. If you need or want other pictures, only ask. Next step ....the range, then the Ransom...

Hello friends, I can only take my hat off in front of David's artwork, wonderful.... My P240 is currently CIP testing and will shortly be shipped back to me. I'm in a hurry to manage to test it at the range. Next time, I'll put picture of my new barrel in here. You may have a look here as well https...

Re: Bulged barrel of my SIG Hämmerli P 240
Hello friends, My pistol just arrived in Austria. I'm in contact with Viktor Schranz who is, probably, the IGB Company owner and engineer. He will personally take care of my barrel problem. We already discussed about this reduction, in diameter, of the central section of the barrel. I let the specia...

Re: Bulged barrel of my SIG Hämmerli P 240
Hello friends, At last, I received, on Tuesday, the French customs export authorisation to ship my pistol accross the borders up to Austria. The parcels are on their way: 2 parcels must be sent with a 48-hour delay in between, that's the rule in France.... IGB should receive the parts on next Monday...

Re: Bulged barrel of my SIG Hämmerli P 240
Hi friends, I'm still waiting for the documents needed for my pistol to cross the borders.... French bureaucracy. I hope I'll receive these docs shortly, otherwise the gun won't be repaired before next September, that's the beginning of the shooting season here. The Brittany championship (regional) ...

Re: Bulged barrel of my SIG Hämmerli P 240
Hi Friends, I'll keep you updated of the situation. I'm preparing the documents needed, from the French authorities, for my pistol to cross the borders to Austria and to come back. I suppose that these will take me a couple of weeks at the least. Afterwards, IGB asks a repair time of 6 to 8 weeks. M...
