Re: Best bedding compound?
Okay, so two-votes for Acraglass from the "North-South" vote - but is that bedding for a musket? I'm talking modern High-Tech here: a 1939 Tula Mosin-Nagant! I just spent money on the JB-Weld for the aluminum pillar beds. I dropped $42 on the Dev-con #10110 Steel bedding. For research sake...

Best bedding compound?
Opinions on best bedding compound for precision rifle: JB Weld Marine #8272 MarineTex Devcon 10110 Devcon 10760 (titanium) Case Facts: I'm ambitiously improving my 1939 Tula Mosin Nagant into (1) Timney trigger, (2) Aluminum pillar beds, (3) Hand lapping the shot-out barrel, (4) Next I'm going to &q...

Re: Crosman Challenger - Good or bad?
@Wasatch: Generally linking a high-pressure tank rated to 2,000psi directly to a 4,500psi fill tank is a DARWIN AWARD waiting to happen. Hence, the regulator: $106 - $116 at Champions Choice. Here's the link: http://www.champchoice.com/store/Main.aspx?p=ItemDetailOptions&item=FAH003 Other on-lin...

"Sporter Rifle" Choices are these: 1. Crossman Challenger: Budget: $550 "all-day-long" 2. Air Arms T200: $525 on Pyramidair.com, (also on Airgundepot - whose website shuts down: All-Day-Long.) 3. CHAMPION's CHOICE: Mod T200 Sporter Air Rifle!!! $550. Crossman Challenger: Avail. a...

Re: LP50 questions
Pilk Guns has those grips. Scott has a whole box of them. I just bought an LP50, ambi-1911-style grip while I was out there last week.
I know they've got the ambidextrous wood grips too - held one in my hand. It's SWEET!!!

Re: New guy question on weak hand pistol
Greetings Texas Hill Country (& Canyon Lake) from rural Appalachian Tennessee. Presuming this is to qualify NRA Expert, "Stage Two - Weak Side, ONE HAND: Five shots in 10 seconds" (from page 5, Winchester/NRA qual. program). My Opinion on ONE HAND "Weak-side" is: DOMINANT EYE...

Re: Any experience with importing from Krale (Netherlands)
Still looks like ILLEGAL importation to me. The UK Communist VCR2006 requires true air gun to be sold to a "registered firearm dealer", which your doorstep is NOT! (Quoting the VCR §32): §32: Sales of air weapons by way of trade or business to be face to face . This section applies where a...

Re: Any experience with importing from Krale (Netherlands)
Bear in mind if KRALE is labeling their imports as "AIRSOFT" instead of true Air Rifle/Air Pistol, that could be a reason they ship straight to your door in UK (and bypassing those "ridiculous laws".) Also, if you find your "AIRSOFT" import from KRALE into the USA disco...

Colt #05870A1 National Match Gold Cup
Merry Christmas Grinches! One of Santa's Elves let slip there's a Colt Gold Cup in my neighborhood. Questions: 1. What is rating (#) of reduced recoil spring that comes stock? 2. Anyone have good load data: 2a. Full power spring 2b. Reduced recoil spring? Looking for opinions on projectile, powder &...
