More shots per fill. That solves one big complaint.

Maybe Champions Choice had a secret order form for larger sizes? Can't hurt to ask.

Watch the Heinz Reinkemeier videos and you'll want all kinds of fancy sight bits and bobs.

Daisy 599 nowadays? Late 2020

So after maybe 18 months in the wild, do we have any more long-term experience on these? I have a feeling that production numbers are low -- I thought I read they only made 500/year?

Re: Adult shooter looking for coach and gear advice

Buy a CMP Daisy. Might scratch the itch alone, but then you'll surely need more.

Re: NEW Orion Athena electronic scored targets.

At ~20minutes remaining in the video he states that the target ONLY price would be about $720 $1400 didn't interest me but $720 is workable. Let's say I build my own stand and bring my own tablet. I'm a bit confused if the processing / scoring / pretty pictures on monitor are done locally or in the...

Re: Fancier sights on a Daisy 853

Great explanation. Would that make the dovetail front of the Challenger more versatile?

Fancier sights on a Daisy 853

Can I mount a fancy set of adjustable iris / diopter sights on the Daisy 853? I believe it has an 11mm dovetail.

Yes, I know that would be waaay more in sights than the cost of the surplus 853. Why ask why, drink Bud Dry.

Moving from Daisy 853 to PCP -- do precision rifles break?

I've read and read about options -- considering the T200, Challenger, Edge, the wood/ambi stock Anschutz 8001 / FWB 500 at CMP, and Anschutz 9015. Money is not an object to the extent that I don't like frustration (breaking parts, inaccuracy blamed on rifle) that might let me justify in my head spen...
