Did you end up removing the locator pin? Do you know the dimensions of the stock? I'm quite amazed that the length of the stock would come close to touching the locator pin...

Hi WesternGrizzly,
I've spent a good hour attempting to figure out how the buttplate is to be removed from the stock. Is it just a matter of loosing the grub screws on the "Mark 1 Link" and sliding it perpendicular to the bore line?
