Do you think about your mechanical trigger failing? They fail too. if the battery goes dead you put a new one in. I have heard that mechanical triggers fail, but never had one fail, seen one fail, or know anyone thats had one fail. Whereas I've had plenty of batteries die on me. Quite a regular occ...

I tried the FWB myself and liked it but there was always that though in your head that if the battery ran out in a competition, or the electronics failed.......

I think the fact no-one makes an elec trigger now speaks volumes.

First, make sure that your iris has these threads by looking between the two extreme ends of the scale on the iris. The two ends of the scale will be beside each other. If there is a small line between these two marks you have the threads. If there is no mark there is no threads If you have the mark...

Getting the under garments first is correct if you want the outer wear to fit. Expensive mistake if it doesn't.

Get snug close fitting stuff thats real comfy, you'll not regret it.

Specialist underclothing is expensive but better than just a tight fitting sweatshirt / sports top

I usually hear a voice shouting at me too, but invariably calling me names like w@nk3r, d1ckhe@d, etc etc

Such shots usually end up in the 9 ring too.

Get the combination iris with the colour filters and the polarisation filters. If your eyesight is poor, perhaps the ones wth optical correction might be an option. Anschutz irises and Centra models are the same thing, both made by Centra and both using quite old technology. Centra re-brands the Ans...

Great set of sight especially if you cant the rifle. Personally I'd go with the 20 click, if you buy the 10 click you will wish you had bought the 20, I know I did! At least if you buy the 20 click and are shooting at 10m you can just move it in 2 clicks at a time; try moving the 10 clicker in half ...

As a similar poster said I would try and loosen the elastic of the wristband. To try and cater for all shapes and sizes manufacturers often have the wristband tigher than looser, the theory being its easier to slacken it off if you need to than it is to tighten it if you need to. I would have no dou...

If you are putting them all through one hole 3 per target

If you are putting some through the same hole I'd go 5

If you are putting them all on the black I'd go 10

If you can't get them all on the card the sky's the limit.

Re: For ordinary people

I own a 2013 wooden stock with 4,65 Nm torque. That works perfectly with Eley Tenex , Lapua Midas and Club and others. I do not change the torque when changing ammunition. That is for perfectionists like TargetShootingShop.com To be fair the difference between ammo batches is quite small but betwee...

Start at about 4Nm and increase 0.2Nm upwards until correct setting is found. Make sue you tightne all screws a little at a time, don't tightne one to full torque then do the next one, tighten them a little each time.

Torque settings will vary between ammo brand used and ammo batch used, you will get a fairly consitant setting if you only use one brand of ammo e.g. Tenex or Lapua Master/Midas. My torque wrench is in Nm and my setting in an alu stock is 6.5Nm I think the wooden stock square actions are a bit lower...

Its called the Anschutz monoframe the art no is 9450. They work really well, anyone who wears frames knows the hassle getting the lens dead centre behind the iris, this gets rid of that problem, as already said I think they are not ISSF passed but great for the club shooter. I don't need corrective ...

I don't know who told you that but the test card that came with my Anschutz 2013 (4 bolt) was pretty impressive!! And thats before any tuning whatsoever before it left the factory! Nothing wrong with the 2 bolt design ala Match 54 etc I had one that was great accurate rifle. That said my 4 bolt 2013...
