Re: fas 6004 trigger adjustment

He asked the same question on another forum. Apparently, he has managed to reduced the trigger weight by following the advice I provided. His problem was that even by backing out the screw at the front to the maximum, he couldn't lower the trigger pull to 520g. That's why I suggested to tighten the ...

Re: fas 6004 trigger adjustment

As I told you on the French forum, the screw 1 controls the trigger weight for the whole pull. That includes 1st and 2nd stage. If unscrewing it to the maximum is not enough to get the weight you want, then tighten the screws 3 and 4 so that there's less tension on the trigger when the shot goes off...

Re: Double hard point trigger?

Just to make things clear: I have no intention of making such a trigger, and I don't recommend it. And even if somebody did, they would have to hide it, otherwise the rules would probably be updated to ban it for the next year, and they would have rigged their trigger for nothing. Re: Double hard point trigger?

Also, tampering with the trigger weight does not reduce the movements in any way.
It only reduces the force you need to apply in order to trigger the shot.

Re: Double hard point trigger?

Re: Double hard point trigger?

Exactly. That would work with such a system... So I guess it's allowed?

Double hard point trigger?

Hello everybody :) I'm doing Air Pistol 10m ISSF competition, I was reading the rules, and specifically, the ones about trigger weight. Now, it says that the trigger must weigh 500g, but it doesn't specify that the shot must go off exactly when the trigger reaches that weight. So that kind of trigge...
