Re: Importing Question
Yes it is possible. With apologies to ChipEck, I have had a steyr evo 10 for about three months now through krale (search Krale on the forum to find more info on them). They delivered within a week, and the gun is amazing. Be warned that this may or may not result in some warranty issues (I haven't ...

Re: Thinking of a PCP AP
If you have a rotor cuff injury I would 100% stick to the tanks rather than the pump. I use a pump and, while it's not a huge workout, you certainly feel it in the shoulders after you have done it.

Re: LP50 for timed and rapid training
Warning...I just bought one this summer and found it addicting. Roughly 6,000 pellets later my bullseye pistols are crying for attention. Chip Now all we have to do to lure you to the dark side is convince you that slowfire should be done with air pistols at 10 meters (with a few more shots and wit...

You're damn right I'm signing that. I want there to be an Olympic shooting sport for me to try out on by the time I get decent enough to go anywhere! Sheesh!

Re: Pardini grip size chart
I've looked at their literature, and never found anything, and I've asked Pardini USA about their standard pistol grips, but never got a response. Based on comparing them with other known grips, the medium covers roughly the 75 to 85mm range, and the large is roughly 90 to 100mm. If anyone has any ...

I'll leave the funding discussions about the ISSF to people who understand its structure better than me. As to my discussion of starting a federation...this is an independent audit of USA Shooting in 2014. http://www.usashooting.org/library/2014audit.pdf Page five (PDF pages, not the pages in the do...

Depending on the specific issue you're having (i.e. did they pretend to be someone they were not allowed to be), you may wish to talk to an attorney in your state about the issue. It sounds like you may have some characters there.

Re: Tokyo 2020: ISSF Ad-Hoc Committee releases Shooting prog
I agree with Slarty's point from a theoretical level, but practically the problem is money. The IOC has it, the competitors do not. Therefore, IOC calls the shots. Running a serious sports federation on no money is impossible in the United States. So unless anyone happens to be sitting on a pile of ...

Re: Statement From Abhinav Bindra
Has anybody bothered reading the IOC's Agenda 2020. Rio had 11544 athletes: the IOC want it limited to 10500. Rio had 306 events: the IOC want it limited to 310. If the ISSF can keep us in the Olympics with 15 events then they will have done extremely well. I wasn't even aware the document existed....

And, by the way, the minutes section of the ISSF in general should be updated. You have at least ten subsections. http://www.issf-sports.org/theissf/organisation/issfreports.ashx Given the size of the organizational structure listed on the website, surely there is more-up-to-date minutes then that. ...

Well, that's the official viewpoint. The guiding principle was to look at situation in a holistic manner which would be beneficial in long term for the shooting sport in order for us to maintain our presence in the Olympic movement. We conducted a vote within the Athletes Committee in order for us t...

Is that list of people who have scores? I bet the actual number is higher since it's a trip to colorado to get to the winter air pistol events. There's probably a few more garage shooters out there.m1963 wrote:USA Shooting lists 147 male and 82 female registered shooters.

If you're worried about this, buy less and use more. You can get Diabolo basics on amazon with free shipping on Prime. I buy one tin at a time, use it until I can start to see the bottom, then purchase another. But maybe you're at a higher level, where you're looking at things like production runs a...

At the last monthly match at Woburn Sportsmen's Assoc. in Bedford, MA, the "D" division was won with a score of 435. Approximately half the scores were below 510. If you are worried about what other people think about your scores, you are already focused on the wrong things. Going to agre...

Im sympathetic to your concerns. I think the NRA lost sight and interest in competitive shooting when they found how how little money was in it for them. Re: Front sight drooping before shot break
If the majority of your shots are low then turn your sights up until the "group" is at the right height. Good technique and practice, combined with coaching suggestions will tighten the group. First it makes sense to find a good coach to identify technical errors. All the suggestions you ...
