Re: Great Indoor Pellet Trap
Great looking trap. Let us know how it works for you down the road. Liking it very much so far. Dramatic difference where lead dust is concerned (none seen). The pellets never splatter, they just slow down and trickle towards the bottom. Also as quiet as any trap I've ever used. Unlike the loud cla...

Re: Great Indoor Pellet Trap
Great idea. I'm looking to try it out myself. What exactly is the purpose of cutting the holes? It looks to me like you just ended up cutting the entire area out anyway. I'm OCD. Figured it would be easier to stop the slitting wheel at the edge of a round hole, than to cut a square. Aside from that...

Re: Great Indoor Pellet Trap
I would be concerned about how fast the coroplast would develop a BIG hole. I use cardboard target backer on my target carrier, and have to replace it on a regular basis, or I don't get nice holes on the target. Do you slide the new piece between the old coroplast and the box, then pull out the old...

Re: Make Shooting Great Again!
Oh and as for no shooting sports, funny how Australia just picked up Gold in the women's trap, Congrats. That's very funny indeed. " Blind squirrel syndrome " comes to mind amidst the laughter. Yes, I am an Australian, but how insulting (and uninformed) do you really want to be? Australia...

Re: Make Shooting Great Again!
Mmmm Someone must have forgotten to tell those of us here about this ban! Pay attention... we learned from your ignorance Yep semi auto fire arms are not freely available, mind you there's no real reason for the average shooter/hunter to need them. True... until he is being " shooter 'd "...

Re: Make Shooting Great Again!
Dennis DeMille and me are going to start a video blog discussing products and techniques. Dennis will be taking care of the high power and I'll be doing the SB and air topics. We are planning on taking questions from the comments of the videos and each week answering a few of them. They will be pos...

Re: Interesting Auction for FWB 603
Glad I lost that one.
Was one of the bidders, and lost it to someone who maxed out the blue book value for a 100% 603 (with sights PLUS multi-color stock premium)
Guess it's time to submit another WTB thread.

Great Indoor Pellet Trap
Got the idea here; http://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2015/04/worlds-best-pellet-trap/ Above is a good read. Towards the end of the dissertation they describe the type of pellet trap I loosely copied. Their trap will even catch centerfire rounds as well as rimfire (theirs was larger than mine so exercis...

Re: FWB 601 - Cylinder not fully depleting
Learnt a few things; This rifle was a very recent acquisition. The previous owner/seller, never shot it, having received it from his father who likewise never shot it in the 6+ years he had possession of it. Similarly his father indicated it had been all but forgotten lying dormant in the nether-reg...

I shot on the USMC Pistol Team with Keith Sanderson in 1999, Google him. Great friend to this day, a riot, highly intelligent, and down to earth. Fun as heck to roam around the Shot Show with too (most recent time spent with him). He's in Rio now, for another run at the Gold. Go USA !!! https://www....

Re: FWB 601 - Cylinder not fully depleting
I had the same problem. I fixed it by changing the seal on the release value. I think the seal was moving forward when the air was released blocking some of the air. ...My experience/findings after suffering the same puny air release symptoms y'all described ...; ((((doing complete rebuild... will ...
