The original question was 'Are there any rules of what kind of action can be on your rifle? Semi or Single?', not how those actions are used.

Surely, the quoted rule numbers only relate to how many cartridges / pellets may be loaded, not the type of action of the rifle.

With respect, I disagree. It is the athlete's responsibility to make sure they are within the rules. Yes, but!
