Re: freETarget
Thank you so much for developing this software and hardware. I too am watching this and appreciate what is being developed. This is out of my realm of knowledge but once it gets going I am in. I just need something for home use for my daughter and me and can’t spend $4000-$5000. This could turn out...

Re: Cheap-ass pellets
I hope nothing is wrong. I bought 16K pellets from Vogel back in December when I was in CO for Winter Air. They are great pellets. They just came out with a new pellet tine which is the best I have seen. I plan to load up again next December.

Re: Cheap-ass pellets
I bought some of these pellets and they are fine for what I bought them for which was for club rifles to train new 10M shooters. These pellets are end of run pellets. So say they make a run of 200,000 pellets with a 4.49 head size and some are left over they get put aside and get mixed in with left ...

Ways of the Rifle?
I see when it comes to books about this sport Ways of the Rifle seems to always come up as the most repeated. By the same authors there is another book Air Rifle Training and Competition. If a person owned neither book and is primarily focused on air rifle which book would you suggest buying first?

Thanks everyone. I will read thru this stuff and learn it. I just figured there was a video out there I could watch to give a visual with what I read.

How to use a sling
Are there any good videos (like YouTube) that shows how to properly use a sling? My daughter has just started her first year on her HS rifle team and is using a sling for 3 position. I just want to learn how the sling is supposed to work, how to adjust, etc. as I have no experience with the type of ...

Re: Walther LG400 fill adapter
Thanks. I have the foster to 200 din adapter for a couple CZ200 rifles. So he can use mine to get the rifle filled and shoot. Since it uses that adapter I assume to fill the rifle the air tube comes off to fill? I figured the tube came off but a secondary way to fill with a probe or something. Sorry...

Re: Walther LG400 fill adapter
We aren’t using a scuba tank. We are using a 6000psi Nitrogen tank. Is there not an adapter to connect whatever Walther provides with the rifle to a Foster fitting?

Walther LG400 fill adapter
I have a friend I shoot air rifle with and he has some how lucked out and and is getting a LG400 directly from Walther. Our fill station uses Foster type fittings. We are assuming the Walther will use something different. Assuming so, what does he need to get to convert whatever fill adapter that co...

Re: Anschutz 2002 SSP Bolt Body Adjutment
Well the barrel adjustment worked. The eccentric screw did not come close to having enough adjustment. It almost took both hands the close the bolt. Now we have the barrel adjusted we can fine tune with the eccentric bolt. The bolt closes easy and chrono in the 570's. Occasionally the bolt pops open...

Re: Anschutz 2002 SSP Bolt Body Adjutment
Ok. Next question, since this is a friends rifle and not in front of me, how to I move the barrel? I assumed there would be some set screws somewhere but looking at parts diagrams I don't see what I think I am looking for.

Re: Anschutz 2002 SSP Bolt Body Adjutment
Thanks. After posting I kind of figured out how to adjust. Still really tight to snap the bolt closed. I had not thought about moving the barrel (Dugh!). Let me look into that. Thanks.

Anschutz 2002 SSP Bolt Body Adjutment
I am helping a friend fix an Anschutz 2002 SSP. Long story short the Bolt Body (part 39) broke. He was very fortunate Anschutz in Germany had one (they were great to deal with BTW). So we installed the new bolt body and when you push down on the thumb lever to close the bolt it is very hard to close...

Re: High Pressure Compressors
Have you considered a Nitrgen tank? My club rents a nitrogen tank. We had to buy a regulated gauge/fill adapter but it works great and no maintenance and with the regulated gauge it's super safe. You can get a lot of fills out of the big 6000 psi tank. Nitrogen is also a dry air. We have to rent the...

Re: Economy pellets
I just ordered RWS basics from Walmart for $4.59/tin on sale. Purchase more than $35 worth and get free two day shipping. Seemed cheap to me. They are my practice pellets and seem to shoot quite well.

Re: Trying to get my daughter going in Air Rifle, Need Advic
You did not tell us your daughter's age. My daughter is 11 and I shoot a lot of air rifle. I have struggled finding a rifle she could shoot. Recently I figured out she could shoot a CZ200 very well. She is hands off in that she can load and shoot it without my assistance. With other air rifles I had...
