Re: Looking back at the Olympics
My daughter and I talked about this. She shoots for her HS team. It’s quite obvious there is no disadvantage in the 3P & 10M Air (the events she competes in) between men & women. In fact there are 9 girls on her team and 3 boys. We came to the conclusion that being separated is better as the...

Re: How about Pardini GPR1 TOP Air rifle?
I am seeing more and more of them on the podium. I have a GPR1 Top I bought a little over a year ago. It’s a beautiful rifle and I have no complaints. The rifle comes with plenty of weights for the user to play with balance. I am by no means an expert. I use mine for casual shooting and postal match...

Re: Brand New to 10m - Which Rifle
I would say from your list the LG400 Competition but would tell you to look for a good used rifle. You may be able to get a top end used rifle for the same price.

Re: Video from Tokyo?
My daughter and I watched it. We went to nbcolypmics.com From there we found a link to watch it live. To do so it had us sign into our directTV account. DirectTV was one of a number providers to choose from.

Re: Indoor Range for 3P-Houston
I am taking my daughter to a 3P camp here at the end of the month and the are having the 3P state championship in September. I have never been there but it is my understanding they have an indoor range for 3P. https://tsra.com/venue/fort-bend-county-extension-educational-center/ I do not know any de...

Dry firing a KK500?
Is it ok to dry fire a KK500? It is not addressed in the owner’s manual.

Scatt Basic thoughts
I have searched for reviews on the Scatt Basic and there isn’t much. Here is my situation and am asking your thoughts. My daughter shoots on her HS rifle team. She gets plenty of practice with her precision rifle at school during the week. I have ordered her a KK500 to get her on the smallbore path ...

Re: head size
Yes it does make a difference. The head size is the head of the pellet, not the skirt. I personally have not experimented with it for 10M as I am not good enough at 10M to make any kind of difference. I do shoot field target where we shoot out to 55 yards and at that range you see the difference. Th...

So does anyone make one like the Earnest Shooting Products hanger? I see them all the time at matches but have never seen one for sale. I would like a couple.

Amazing
The CMP would like to shout a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Katrina Demerle of Hamilton, Ohio, who fired a new (almost unbeatable) precision 3P National Record during the March Monthly Air Gun Match at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center at Camp Perry! Katrina set the Overall Three-Position Air Rifle...

MEC Monocle Screws
My daughter lost the set screw on her MEC monocle. It’s the set screw for the rod to allow it to go back and forth. Does anyone know what size set screw MEC used? I have emailed MEC but have not heard back.

Re: Glasses vs monocle
My eyesight is around 20/40 now days (49 years old). I used to have 20/650 before I had lasik in 1996. I have a MEC monocle and it is awesome and I highly recommend it. If my vision was really bad, like I previously had, I can see where glasses would be better. I did have Neal Stepp (ISS) work with ...

Re: Revisiting Benelli Kite Service
First I don’t know anything about a Kite pistol but a little about PCP guns. So your issue is you fill up the air cylinder and it slowly leaks down to 130bar. I assume there is an air gauge on the end of the air cylinder. Assuming that is true have you filled the air cylinder up and left it off the ...

Re: Beginner questions about 10m airguns
A mid range option would be to buy a good used single stroke like a Feinwerkbau 601 (or 600, 602, or 603) from Jim E. It would operate exactly as you 853 but it is a real match rifle. If you are tired of cocking a rifle then get a PCP. I own both an 853 and a FWB 601 and though they operate the same...
