Re: Need Help Scoring a 10 Meter Target...
93 Awesome shooting for starting out sporter. Prone position I assume? If he keeps this up and progresses as he should then you need to start looking at precision equipment real soon! Don't worry this is an inexpensive sport. ;-)

Re: Shooting games on electronic targets
Here are two decent games: "HORSE" or "DOG" (or any name) depending on number of shooters and time available. Shot kinda like a final (Load, Start, after 1 minute, Stop). After each series of shots, lowest score (decimal) shooter gets a letter. When each shooter spells out the na...

Re: Needed HS rifle team suits & boots. WTB
Haireacane, Used Champions Choice suits and boots that I have collected over time are what I am using now but I am short and they are what I'm looking for. I agree, my experience shows the red, white and blue CC suits hold up for a long time, much better than the grey & white. I'm glad you broug...

Needed HS rifle team suits & boots. WTB
I have a new high school precision rifle team that I'm trying to outfit out of my own pocket. I need two pairs of boots, one size US 11/Euro 44, and one size US 9 1/2 to 10/Euro 42. Two size 34 Jackets, three size 36-38 jackets and one ladies size 10. I also need one size 32 pants. Any help on this ...

Re: J2 Womens AR cutoffs higher than J1 again!
Bart, They are classified differently but all three classes compete for the finals which determines the Champion, 2nd and 3rd overall. In 2015 and in 2014 the Champion and second place overall were both J2s!!! They do have three places on separate podiums for J2 and J3. Once upon a time, outside of ...

Re: J2 Womens AR cutoffs higher than J1 again!
Dave, You are correct there are just so many lanes and relays and thus a certain number of athletes that can attend. My problem is the cut off being higher for younger girls (J2) than older (J1). A J2 shooting the same qualification score as a J1 has just as good a chance making the finals as the J1...

J2 Womens AR cutoffs higher than J1 again!
Can anyone explain to me why year after year with women's AR the cutoff for the younger J2s is higher than the cutoff for older J1s? I have asked this question before and been told "There are more J2s and it's more competitive". Not so, 121 J1s were invited and only 63 J2s. BTW J3 cutoffs ...

Re: Info on Neal Stepp
Just call him. His is an elderly gentleman of old values, which means he had rather do business by talking to you and he is a man of his word and expects you to be the same. First time I ever talked to him (on the phone) he shipped an expensive FWB rifle to me before I could even get a check in the ...

"Tstamey, silencers are legally firearms, both under the Gun Control Act (GCA) and the NFA. You have to fill out exactly the same paperwork for a silencer as you would for a short-barreled shotgun." Chia, to quote gwsb "I'm not a lawyer" but I stand by my original statement: &quo...

Re: Investment Advice
The huge increase in Form 4's in 2013 till this summer was due to pending ATF changes in Trusts. The overwhelming majority of those NFA Form 4's were for suppressors which in the real world are nothing but gun mufflers and not firearms.

Re: Help picking smallbore for small shooter
My daughter is 12 (about to be 13) and is 5'4" 120lbs and she shoots a FWB 2700 Light. It gets a little heavy in standing but she handles it pretty well. My research showed it to be the smallest and lightest SB (never looked at Bleiker because of price).
